Easter is hopping its way towards us quite quickly, it seems.  Although Easter isn’t necessarily my favourite holiday, the fact that it heralds spring (well, at least a semblance of spring in my part of the world) usually makes me quite pleased.  I have found a few bits and bobs to get you ready for it all, and I hope you’ll enjoy!

The Hair – One of Pink Hustler’s group gifts is this shaggy mid-length hairstyle that I’m kind of in love with. Melora’s Boudoir

Hey There Fab Free! The Gachaland gacha event has started and I just had to share this bedroom set by Oubliette with you. It’s the witchy romantic bedroom of my little gothic heart’s dreams! The textures in each piece are beautiful and detailed. This gacha set is just 50 linden per play, and of course the items are transfer. The bed, chair, and ottoman all have male and female poses, and the light fixtures give off a small amount of ambient light. Speaking of lighting, the beautiful chandelier is a prize awarded after 20 pulls that is exclusive to the event. A Long Winter’s Dream

Hey Hey Fabberoos!  I’m in a dreamlike state since it’s all starry and snowy and January has placed its spell on me.  You know, the whole “Long Winter’s Nap” thing is taking a hold of me, but I’d rather refer to it as a long Winter’s dream.  Doesn’t that sound more lovely?

Yep.  I went Mary Poppins on you with my lyrics there.  I’m just hanging out at the beach, trying to put on a horrible cockney accent while singing away.  I’ll be talking with a really bad accent all day in order to celebrate England’s win in the World Cup today. The other day, Astrid mentioned that I needed to get out and have an adventure.  She was quite right, so I snuck on over to Cythera, land of swamps and mists.  As I plodded my way around the bogs, seeking out thrills, I figured I’d best get some selfies done before an alligator decided to chomp off my legs or some such.  Where’s the nearest Starbucks in this swamp anyway?!

Craving Coachella

All weekend I saw people posting photos of their trips to Coachella music festival – you know, dressing up all crazy cool and dancing in the dust, with flowers in your hair.  I’m still stuck in the land of ice storms and shivers so I hopped inworld and found myself a cactus to pose beside!  I’m enjoying the rays of the sun on my way to see Beyoncé while sipping on some agave lemonade (I dunno, sounds like a thing to do in the desert!).  But the best part is – my outfit is completely free!

I absolutely love this light and airy dress by Sophisticate that I found for free at the Garden of Shadows event.  There are several moderately priced gifts hanging around (mostly around 10L), but this one is completely free!  I love the mint green colour and the little heart cutouts.  Perfect for a day in the sun.  (I hope I don’t get weird tan lines…).  You can get it too by heading to the Garden of Shadows and seeking out the Sophisticate booth.  You’ll be happy you did!

More Hair!

Another event going down right now is Gachaland!  There are loads of  free gifts to be had there, but today I’m going to just tease a bit and show you the hair I found by Ayashi.  They’re always generous and have some great hairstyles out at events for free. Today’s side braid will keep me cool in the warm weather, as well as keeping me cool in the “Oh, Aline you’re so cool” kind of way since it’s pink!
