Hey Fab Free! Today I will be talking about the Call of Lovecraft event and hunt. The event ends on November 20th, so you have some time to check it out! The sim reminds me of the new series on HBO Lovecraft Country– as you can see by the octopus tentacles in the background of my picture I took at the event. How creepy and supernatural!

Call of Lovecraft Hunt

The main attraction of Call of Lovecraft is the hunt going on at the sim where many designers have put out hunt prizes. The hunt object you are looking for and the hunt keys can be found on Kaleidoscope Island’s website.

Generally, each hunt item costs 25 Linden per piece. I am wearing one of the hunt prize by Ari-Pari, which are a series of “Ancient Masks”. I am wearing Prize #1 in red to match my outfit.

More gifts!

There are also a bunch of free gifts at the event, which don’t require a group join. Simply walk around in the circle near the front of the event and grab all the gifts the designers have set out for 0 L. The necklace I am wearing is one of these free gifts, the Lilith necklace by Ari-Pari. This necklace is so elegant. I love the pretty black pendant; this is a gorgeous piece with lots of detail.

 

And Gachas!

As you go around the circle of gifts, you can also play gachas by different designers. My dress and heels come from Ari-Pari’s Lilitch Gacha, which costs 50L per pull to play. I absolutely LOVE the Lilith outfit- I must say it is one of my favourites I have ever found in Second Life. I love Victorian wallpaper prints and elegant clothing, so if you are into that this is truly the perfect gacha for you.

Camping On Hallow’s Eve

This is my last Halloween post, which I am sad about. But I had fun this year! There’s so many amazing things around the grid this year so I hope that you enjoyed all the awesome free things we showed you on Fab Free this month! I’m sure there’s even more to come from our fabulous team of bloggers. ❤️

Today I am preparing for my Hallow’s eve camping trip that starts tonight! There’s going to be lots of ghost stories, campfires and fun with my friends on the night before Halloween!

More Gifts at Lovel

Thanks to this amazing post by Pru earlier this month, I was introduced to the store Lovel. In addition to the lovely blue hoodie gift featured in Pru’s post, Lovel has generously set out two additional free gifts which you can get by joining their free group. The group gifts are the Millena hoodie in black and a matching black bodysuit that can be worn under it. I chose to wear some jeans over the bodysuit (which fit snuggly) to cover up, but you could wear this sexy suit all on its own.

Parting Halloween fun…

The last two gifts I want to share are these adorable fuzzy slippers and the amazing glowing pumpkin, cross, and fence hairdo.

The cozy slippers, which come in a striped pattern in both orange and purple, are only 10 Linden at Mad Circus 6. These slippers can be found in the Ari-Pari booth at the event.

The hair is a free gift from EscalateD at Trick or Treat Lane until November 1st. To get the gifts, you just need to search each booth to find the gift bag which contains a free prize. Trick or Treat Lane is one of my favourite events of the year because it’s a mix of hunting and freebie shopping.

Moments of Mindfulness

Hey Fab Free! I mentioned the Halloween-decorated sim All Hallows at Moochie in my last post, and I went a bit wild myself taking pictures there this year. I love all the little nooks, crannies, and pumpkin patches there. These little spots are perfect for just taking a breath in our moments of mindfulness, which we all need right now in this crazy world we are living. Treat or TREAT?: Great Deals and a Free Logo Mesh Head

The treats keep on coming this October and in this post I will be talking about some goodies out right now such as these boots and my hair which are 75L and under deals. After handing out those treats, I will talk about what is perhaps the biggest treat of all this Halloween season- the new FREE mesh head by Logo, which I pair with group gift skin from Wow Skins that nicely matches the head.

The Boots & Hair Details

• The boots are a gacha item at 50L per play at the Gacha Life until Oct. 31st. These are from the Batty & Webby boots by Ari-Pari. Make sure you grab the free gifts at the event while you stop by to play the gachas!
• The hair and the bloody hair colour hud are two 25L hunt prizes at Spookzilla by EscalateD. Spookzilla runs until October 31st. To see the hunt key for EscalateD’s prizes at this hunt, click here.

A Free Bento Mesh Head by Logo

And now for the feature of my post for today, a FREE mesh head. The amazing head creator Logo has generously set out two free mesh heads, and today I am showing off the female head. Her name is Chelsea and she is gorgeous. You can grab the head for free at the Logo 15th Anniversary event, which runs until November 6th.  Simply join the free Logo Update group, and pay the head vendors 1 L and it will pay the 1 L back.

The head can be used with Bakes on Mesh (BOM) out of the box, but skins and additional makeups are available for sale at the event if you want to buy them. I achieved this look with BOM skins and makeup already in my inventory, so no additional cost needed for me. The skin used is a recent group gift from Wow skins, which costs 199 L to join. The lipstick is an older advent gift from 7 Deadly Skins and the eyes are currently a free SLFO gift from Euphoric. Take a peek in my credits below for more specifics.  A lot of BOM skins and makeups should work great with this head.

It’s Sunny

Hello Fab Folks! For those of you that are loving the idea of the new mesh heads and also for those of you that are curious about it, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg testing out if you like it – Genesis Lab has put out a new group gift head called Sunny 2.0. This head includes the eyes, ears and even a fairly extensive makeup hud that allows you to choose your eyebrow colours as well as offers a variety of eye, cheek and lip options.  The Genesis Lab group is 250L to join, but there are currently three mesh head group gifts to obtain.  Try them all out!

The Summer Heat outfit that includes the floral blouse, cuffed denim jeans, and sandals is also a group gift, and you can find it at Ghee!  This group is also 250L to join, but again…  loads of gifts to pick up!
