Alright so I’m gonna call this look a little bit Flash Dance, and a little bit Cats. haha I actually had a lot of fun dressing up and taking photos in this, especially since the outfit is completely free. I picked up the top, bottom, and adorable socks for free at Voluptas Virtualis. As soon as I put the outfit on I felt nostalgic for those iconic ’80s and ’90s dance movies. Maybe it’s time for a movie marathon? haha
This awesome gift from Voluptas Virtualis is free for everyone. The matching “Hadi” top and bottom come in female sizes only, however the fuzzy socks come sized for male avatars as well as female. Both gifts are packaged together. Just click the vendor near the landing point and the gift will be sent to you. The “Hadi” set has a color/texture change hud with some fun tiger stripe options and solid colors. You can also hide/show the trim or color it separately. The socks have a color/texture change hud with lots of options. Also, if kitty feet aren’t your thing, fear not, there are solid color choices as well as stripes. I have no idea how long this gift will be available, so don’t wait!

So I’d been having one of “those” days. I’m sure that you know the type I am talking about. No major tragedies, just a lot of little things not quite going the way they should and wreaking havoc on your mood and the plans you’d made. Yep, definitely a Thoseday. Still, I managed to find some zen, take a moment to enjoy some music, a purely indulgent latte, and the company of this silly orange fur-ball. While the day might have been a mess, just that moment and a few freebies from Vision and e.marie managed to salvage my mood. I’d call that a silver lining.

Now, about those freebies I mentioned. My bandeau top and cargo pants are both from Vision. I picked them both up at the Vision stop at the Second Life 17th Birthday Shop & Hop. The top is the free SL17B gift, while the pants are a freeVision group gift. You’ll need to wear the Vision group tag (there’s a group joiner there) for the pants. The Vision group also happens to be free to join at this time. The top has a texture change hud with 5 choices. The cargo pants come in the color shown with a hud that lets you change the color of the drawstring and metal parts.
My latte with it’s fluffy whipped topping and cute little particle effect is by e.marie. You’ll find it waiting for you at the e.marie stop at the SL17B Shop and Hop event. It’s their free Second Life Birthday gift. The latte is copy, and has a bento hold animation. Hello hello Fab Free’rs. Something occurred to me today. In my teens I might have worn this look to a party… now I still love the look, but I wore it to the farmer’s market. I think my age might be showing a little bit. lol Either way, I’m enjoying my Sunday and looking super cute doing so. I picked up just about everything for this fun style for free at the current round of ACCESS. It’s a birthday/anniversary round for the event and I have to say it’s the biggest round of ACCESS I have ever seen.
Aline did a gorgeous job of showing off some of the freeACCESS gifts as well in her recent pose “A Little Bit Boujee” so be sure to check that out if you haven’t already. Volthair
So technically this is a mens hairstyle from Volthair, but I love it anyway. Even Blue said it looked good, score! It comes in a full fatpack with all the color huds, and a hairbase hud for Catwa and Omega compatible heads. The Fitz hairstyle by Volthair is free at ACCESS. To get your copy you’ll need to join the free-to-joinACCESS event group and wear the tag when you click the little teal giftbox.
Fake Society
I feel like this safety pin jewelry set by Fake Society is an updated much cooler version of the plain ol’ safety pins I once wore as jewelry. The set is also free at ACCESS, and it includes earrings (shown) and a septum piercing (not shown) in silver, gold, and black. I would definitely consider this set unisex. The septum piercing I felt was a bit big for my face even with some resizing, which is the only reason I chose to not wear it.
Kibitz
Another throwback jewelry piece that I love, stretchy black chokers. This one is the freeACCESS gift by Kibitz. I think the little heart locket is a cute addition. This free choker can be sized via touch menu.
Cult
All the rings I am wearing are part of the freeACCESS gift by Cult. They are called the Rou rings and they are sized for Belleza, Slink, Vista, and Maitreya hands. This bento set comes in silver, and gold.
Movement
I couldn’t resist this fun tumbler drink by Movement. I love the little horns on the lid, and purple is a favorite color of mine. This cup has a bento hold pose, and can be sized via touch menu. It’s also another awesome freebie at ACCESS.
Sixx
Finally, the top that ties this all together is the freeACCESS gift by Sixx. This black pushed up crop top with the iridescent looking alien face is super cute. It is also somewhat revealing if you don’t wear something under it. I dug through my closet and pulled out an undershirt by Vinyl to wear with my Sixx alien shirt, and it worked out pretty well I think. Otherwise, be bold and show some skin!

Sure enough I found this cute summer outfit by Fatal Fashion that is either new, or I’d probably just overlooked before. Hello Fab Free’rs! I’ve packed up all I own, and I’ve got my camera. I’m ready for a long vacation, where are we going? I’d love nothing more than to be able to pack up and go on some long adventure.
