Vershe & Splintered Creations for the FL&F Hunt

For this post I am bringing you the items in the FabFree Falling Leaves & Frost Hunt from Splintered Creations and Vershe. Please be sure to check out all the awesome posts from the hunt and preview the items.

Splintered Creations has this beautiful fall themed decor set for only 5L on the hunt. It includes the Fall sign, crate with green pumpkins the lovely little entry bench compartment I am sitting on and the rug, all for 15 Li total. The bench has several animations, which I’ll show more of below in the close up photos.

Seeing Stars

One of my favourite paintings by far is Van Gogh’s Starry Night.  There’s something so mesmerizing and awe-inspiring about the way he made visible the swirling glories of the night sky.  It just makes me think a little bit about the unseen world of magic and beauty around us.  If we just pause for a moment, you’ll see that there is so much loveliness to behold in our world.  And if you’re not in the mood for gazing upon the heavens in awe, then I’m sure you’re at least in the mood for a fun dress.  😉

More Coolness from the FabFree FL&F Hunt

Bringing you some more awesome stuffs today from the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt! Thought I’d mix up a few things in the hunt and show decor and buildings as well as clothing and accessories. Don’t miss all the other awesome posts about this hunt HERE. Also, you can view all the prizes HERE.

I thought I would begin with this Harry Potter themed set from Kim’s Kreations. The amount of thought and detail that she put into this is incredible. There are three hunt objects to find total at her store, only 1L each. This wand shop building is one of the hunt items. It is only a total of 15 Li and the front door is scripted to open and close on touch. The light posts are another item in the hunt and they give off light as you can see. There are three versions, including the 2 you see here. They are between 2 and 3 Li each. The 3rd version of the light post is just like the one with the Diagon Alley sign but with the hand pointing in the opposite direction.

The hat and dress are the two fashion items from the hunt I wanted to share today. The hat is from Drama Libre and has falling leaf particles that cascade down around you. This hat is totally FREE at 0L. The hat is unrigged so you can wear it however you like!

This sweater dress is the female hunt item at Amazing Creations for 1L. It includes texture HUDs with 62!! fabrics to choose from! Here is a close up of the dress in the texture I chose:

Snow Bunny Vibes

It’s a marshmallow world outside my RL windows today, so I may as well make art imitate life.  It’s a lot less cold in SL, and I can have that little snow bunny dream outfit like I’ve always wanted.  You all know winter doesn’t behave with the skirts and the bare midriffs usually, but SL is the land of dreams, so let’s make it happen!

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Go outside and enjoy the winter weather, they said. It will be fun, they said. Okay I’ll admit that it is really pretty. I’ve never had a problem looking at winter weather, it’s the going out in it that gets me. So enjoying it while sitting on my sofa wrapped up in a blanket is a-okay with me!

I’m also wearing a new skin! I love the sweetly pink cheeks and smattering of freckles. This time it’s the current free group gift from Seven Deadly Skins. 7DS is great because the skins come as one piece that includes the head and the body. Easy peasy. If you don’t want to mess with making sure your head matches your body and neck fixes and all that rigmarole, than this is the place for you. That Friday Feeling

The weekend has come round again, thankfully, and I clearly am in need of a little respite.  It’s pretty cold in my part of the world, so time to curl up by the fire and think warm thoughts.

Beach Day! Yay!




Since I got less sleep instead of an extra hour I declared today a beach day! I landed at Kanaloa Surf Beach where you can stroll along a beautiful stretch of beach while enjoying the scenic vistas, go surfing or just hang out. I recommend a visit here if you need to hear the waves crashing. Luckily I found a perfect outfit to wear at one the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt stores.

A Hug in a Mug

There’s nothing quite  like a good cup of tea on a chilly day.  Or on any day, in my humble opinion.  It can lift spirits, make things that are wrong right again, and just generally is an excellent thing.  Today is one of those days that needs a good hug in a mug, and my go-to is always tea.

First Things First

Before I get into other things, I must put my tea down, and I’m not ruining any furniture, so of course I need a coaster.  And I am one of those people who will insist upon a coaster being something pretty.  I’m sure lots of people don’t particularly care either way, but I must insist upon them being a thing of beauty.  Luckily, there are like-minded folk out there, like the very talented Nayleen Spot of Ishiku.  Her prize for the Fallen Leaves and Frost Hunt are these absolutely stunning coasters that I didn’t know I needed in my life until I clapped eyes upon them.  Search for the little neon rainbows in the shop, they’re just 5L each.  Also, you can click on the two upright versions to change their colour.  Happiness!
