Hi There Fab Free’rs! I found some wickedly cute group gifts to share with you today. I had such fun dressing up, I hope you enjoy them too. Two of the group gifts I picked up are from a shop called Glutz. The third gift is from Slack Girl. Keep reading for all the info.

The Horns – First I want to tell you that there are tons of free group gifts out at Glutz. Some of them are for a furry body/head that I unfortunately know nothing about, but you might want to check that out! Also, the Glutz group is free to join. I picked up several of the group gifts myself. Among them are these cute ribbon wrapped horns. They include a color change hud that lets you pick from a few preset colors for the horns and the ribbon. They can also be easily resized to best suit your needs.

The Choker – Also at Glutz this cute necklace/choker is part of a gift set called Sovereign Scarlet gifts. The set is free to all Glutz group members, and as I mentioned above the Glutz group is free to join. It includes the necklace and a matching barrette which is not shown in the photo. I really like the little crystal details on this jewelry piece. There are no scripts in this item either, making it a low-lag accessory, and you can easily resize it using the edit menu.

The Manicure – Finally, I picked up one of many many group gifts out at Slack Girl. In fact, Slack Girl has an entire room of recent and past group gifts available. The Slack Girl group has a one time join fee of 150 linden. The gift I picked up is this pretty set of bento nails. They are an elongated coffin shape with several nude french tip color choices, and a black with white tips (shown), and a red color with white tips. I included a copy of the vendor ad below so you can get a better look at these beautiful nails. The set also comes with nails to fit each of the following hands: Maitreya, Slink, Vista, Eve, Belleza, Tonic, Tuty, and Altamura.

Fab Free Designer Friday – 01/12/2018 – Deadly Nightshade

Hello Fab Free’rs, and welcome back to the blog for another edition of Fab Free Designer Friday. This week I get to talk about Deadly Nightshade. Not the plant, the shop! Deadly Nightshade is self-described as “bringing you quality avatar accessories of the magical and otherworldly varieties.” After browsing the shop, I felt like it was a sort of Second Life version of an Occult shop. At Deadly Nightshade you’d purchase accessories and other items to aid in an otherworldly or magical appearance. Most of the items I encountered are unisex as well, so the guys can get accessorized also.

The Deadly Nightshade shop has a very minimalist setup with signage on the floor guiding you to different types of merchandise. There are walking accessories, wearable auras, gachas, and more to explore. I even spotted a tiny bit of women’s clothing, and some decor. The landing point is a round central room where you’ll find everything you need in regards to shop information, group gifts, and events. Fitting with the round room, the circulation desk at Deadly Nightshade is also round. You’ll want to check out the desk, it’s where you’ll find the Fabulously Free in SL group gift. Both the Fab Free group and the Deadly Nightshade group are FREE to join. So if you’re looking for something different, something magical perhaps, you won’t want to miss out on these Fabulous FREEBies!

Fab Free Designer Friday – 11/17/2017 – roro

Hello There Fab Free’rs! Today has been the longest Friday ever! Okay maybe not, but it sure felt that way for me. I am so glad to be here with you sharing this week’s Designer Friday post. Today I get to talk about a little shop called roro.  This shop is an eclectic ladies clothing shop with a playful spin on what could be considered bohemian style. Along with the unique clothing style, you’ll also find nail appliers, jewelry, and accessories at roro.

Don’t let the size of the roro shop fool you, there’s lots of shopping to be done. Also there are many opportunities for FREE and inexpensive items. The roro landing point places you near the “Gift” section and the Information area of the shop. There are a couple of Lucky Letter boards, and a Night Prize board, all of which are open for everyone to play. No group is needed. Also in this same area are a ton of inexpensive items. Most of what I saw in this “Gift” area at roro ranged in cost from just 1 linden to 10 linden in cost. Do not forget to check out the desk in the little information corner of the roro shop.

It’s in that little corner where you’ll not only find the info about current and upcoming hunts and events happening at roro, you’ll find the FREE and Exclusive gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members. This bright and colorful skirt is FREE to all Fabulously Free in SL group members. There are a few additional gifts for other groups in this area also. Resting Witch Face

Hello hello Fab Free! Don’t worry, I’m not really gloomy. I just have “Resting Witch Face.” I’m sure some of you can relate to this. I’ve often been told I look upset or even angry when I am genuinely not. I just happen to look that way. So when I saw this FREE Subscriber gift tumbler from Astralia, I had to have it. Admittedly the rest of this look is inspired by the travel mug that cheekily reads “Resting Witch Face” with an arrow pointing up. The TRUTH

This hairstyle, much like Pru’s facial expression, is rather witchy if I do say so myself! These cropped curls are the September Group Gift for TRUTH VIP Group members. As with all the group gifts from TRUTH, this one is a fatpack. Additionally it has a stylist hud so you can change up the style of the hair. I went with this little side braid. I think I’ll be wearing it for a while. Currently the TRUTH VIP group is 350 linden to join.

Cubic Cherries

The top and the bindi Pru has on are both recent group gifts at Cubic Cherry. I think there was even another group gift sent out in the group notices today! I know there are several available at the store. Anyway, I digress, this top is really cute if you’re going for a casual goth look. It comes in a single mesh size (which I think is meant for TMP and could easily be unisex), and in 4 color variations, black & white (shown), black & red, white & black, and white & red. The top fits like a slouchy over-sized tee on my shape/body, which I’m totally okay with. The second gift is the triangular Norse bindi. I like bindis in general, but I think this one is very cool because it’s different from a lot of the ones I am used to seeing. This Cubic Cherry gift comes in black (shown), brass, gold, and silver. At this time the Cubic Cherry group is 66 linden to join.

Fab Free Designer Friday – 03/24/2017 – Entice

Happy Friday Fab Free! Today’s Fabulous Designer Friday post is all about Entice. I’m pretty sure the Entice shop has been around as long if not longer than I have. They are truly a “household” name in Second Life. If you’ve never been to Entice, now is a great time to get to know this shop. They have recently redone their store, and I personally love the new layout. Entice specializes in mostly women’s mesh clothing, however they have become a one-stop-shop in that you’ll find everything from casual day wear to evening wear, lingerie, shoes, even nail appliers and hairstyles. I’m sure I’ve left something out of that list, but you get the idea! As you enter the store, you’ll see the desk with all the usual information and a few extras. There’s a subscriber group as well as the regular store group, both are FREE to join. In that first room you’ll also find the wall of information as I’ve come to call it, and as you can see in the photo below, Entice participates in several events. If you’re interested in what they have to offer at any one event, you can visit the room to the left and get a full preview including demo items when available for the current lineup of events
One thing about Entice that no one can deny is how generous they are with gifts and opportunities to score FREE or inexpensive items. Just beyond the room at the entrance, after you go through a beautiful landscaped courtyard, you’ll find a second circulation desk, and a full wall of group gifts, midnight mania, and lucky boards. As I mentioned before, the Entice group is FREE to join.  This is also where you’ll find the current Fab Free exclusive group gift. You may remember this gift from Serena’s post “ Tres Joli in Rose“.  To get the Fab Free nail applier gift, don’t forget to wear your Fab Free group tag. Not a member? No problem! Just A Couple Of Christmas Brats

The other day, I showed you one of the women’s gifts at Delirium Style, but there are tons available for both men and women.  Calgon and I did a little sledding this evening at the My Grown Up Christmas List Sim, despite his fear of another snow smashing face wash after our last snow adventure.  In the photo above you will see us in our Christmas Brats Outfits that are in the giant “gift section”  at Delirium Style on the lower level.  Both outfits are complete with clothing, boots, and accessories shown and… I’m not sure about Cal’s, but mine jingles when I walk!
