Good evening, Fab Readers. I hope all of you are having a wonderful beginning of September. Personally, I am looking forward to the coming Fall season and all it brings. The chain necklace is also a L’Homme offering. The “Tyler Chain” from Opopop has just a little extra style than the basic men’s chain. But not so over the top to look odd with more casual outfits.
Lastly, I have a new set of stylish glasses. The “Slimglass Glasses” are from Since 1975 and are the L’Homme gift as well. They are both copy and modify so you can adjust them to your shape easily. The HUD comes with five choses of either wildly colored hardware and lenses or the more sedate simple black pair I’m wearing.

It’s October. During this month, every bump, creak, and thud you hear seems to make your mind race. All those late night horror movies on the TV don’t make it any better. Have you ever had one of those friends that wants to pull you away from the safety of your home to go out and do some real ghost hunting? Whether it be the old creepy haunted house, run down school, or abandoned hospital. I knew two such people, that during the month of October had to visit at least one haunted place. A few years back they actually dragged me along. To none other then an old abandoned hospital. As we walked around, nothing seemed out of the ordinary to me. Sure a few sounds, maybe a moan, a thud in the distance. Then they dared me to go down to the morgue all by myself.
I was younger and never backed down from a dare. Yes, now that sounds rather idiotic and stupid. Totally something out of one of those horror movies we all watch. This time it was for real, for me anyway. I headed down to the morgue, stopping to make sure the bandanna on my hair was tied tight enough, gotta keep that long then unruly hair outta my eyes. That way I wouldn’t mistake it for some type of ghost in the corner of my eye. I pushed my way through the doors and walked into the morgue, which was a bit cold. I pulled up my hood, from my smoke skull hoodie around my neck. I looked around, pieces from the ceiling scattered on the floor, a few of the body drawer doors open, and an old gurney against the back double doors. Then WHAM!!! One of the doors to the body drawers slams closed. Then a squeak, the gurney rolls back. I turn my head and there she is. I defensively put up a hand, leg, and scream. Yes…..yes I screamed. For there was a ghostly apparition of a teenage girl standing not just two feet away from me. There I was living a real life horror movie. To which I ran away from as fast as I could.

Say what?? Fashionable, swag, GQ, trendy, stylish… In real life I’ve never been any of these things. I usually wear what I think is comfortable and what I like. So fashion be damned! Hello Fabulous Readers! Honestly, I have been busy working on organizing the garage all morning! I’m just in the middle of one of my rare breaks. Bruiser, here, wandered over from next door, and I had to pause, give him a long scritch between his ears, and slip him a Ripley snack or two. Good thing the Pupster was off on a walk with Kat, otherwise there might have been a rumble around here!
For Him…
Loyal reader Geoffrey Edwardstone sent in a tip that there are some terrific prizes to locate in the For Him Hunt. You may have already seen that Loki blogged the Horr Menswear hunt prize {here}. It sure looks great on him! Astrid shared the Storax Tree’s Seattle Loft Small Table {here}, which is another hunt item. After seeing all of these goodies, and reading Geoffrey’s note, I decided to tackle this hunt for myself. In no time at all, I picked up my Camo Cargo Shorts over at {Fe Style}. The package includes two fit mesh options, plus mesh for classic avatars. By adjusting the alpha layer on my Belleza body, I got a terrific fit, even though there is not a specific mesh avatar version. With plenty of pockets to stash the day’s necessities in, and a cool camo print, I can see myself sporting these shorts often. I was glad to get out of the house head out to organize the garage so I could avoid sorting through items indoors assist with operation SPRING SPRUCE UP (her idea, not mine!). Getting centered is now part of my daily avocation and nothing goes better together than Tai Chi and a cup of Chai Tea afterwards. I needed to be at total peace to put on a new avatar to model for you today (I get nervous I will never get my usual body back on correctly). I found the Robert Bento Mesh Fullbody Avatar at Altamura for FREE on the Men Only Hunt 10. I recommend you pick this up even if you make no other stops on this hunt. I kept the avatar in it’s unpackaged condition (no appliers) so you can see what you are getting. I was impressed with a couple of things, one being the facial movements of the Bento head, and the other being the alpha HUD.
Accessorizing the New Look…
I used some other items from the MOH10 to give “Robert” his own personal flair. Bad Hair Day provided the Irusu Hair as their hunt gift. Avi-Glam‘s gift is the Cold Day Eyes. To cover my “bits”, I put on the Brian Boxers, the gift that can be found at Alter. This gift includes a HUD that lets you select from five different colors. I accessorized with the Rage Nose Piercing, the hunt prize found at LouLou&Co & BeBop . And.I also put on the Knight Cross Necklace, found at etham.
