Livin’ Our Best Life

Hello There! Welcome back to the blog! Is it too early for the beach? Maybe. I suppose it depends on where you are in the world. Here in Second Life we get to be beachy anytime. This cute little pup and I are out living our best lives right here in SL where the sun always shines. Speaking of this adorable doggie, she’s part of a free gift by Eniipose at The Free Dove. Pose and Props – I think French bulldogs are my favorite of the bulldog breeds, and this little pup with her red bow and sunglasses is the cutest of the cute. Tis The Season to be Silly

Hey there Fab Free’rs! I have to admit, it’s unusual for me to be this level of festive before December 1st, but I just couldn’t resist. These cute free gifts from the Black Friday Bazaar were just too fun, and I had to share them with you. So if you’ve not made it out to the BFB (Black Friday Bazaar) yet, you really should go! The Sweater – I think deep down I have a true affinity for Christmas sweaters. This cute sweater is the free BFB gift by Jelly Roll. It comes in several mesh sizes, and includes an alpha layer making it suitable for classic avatars.

Life is Uncertain……..Eat Dessert First

Hello there, Fabulouses!  With warmer temperatures, I couldn’t resist stopping for a refreshingly delicious ice cream cone on my way home tonight.  When I scooped her up for a cuddle, this adorable pup decided to sneak a sample from my cone for herself.  The little rascal!

Vintage Vixen

Charlote, my pretty floral frock, is a group gift for VIP members from Furtacor. (updated landmark)  Until May 1st, this group costs nothing to join, so you can scoop up this strapless spring dress for free (after May Day, joining the VIP group will set you back 100L).  I love the vintage rose texture and the way the hem of the dress is flouncy and asymmetrical.   Packed with details such as vertical piping to draw the eye upward, and a pleated skirt, this little number is sure to become a summer favorite of mine.  The gift also includes a HUD with 25 textures (6 plain and 19 prints) to choose from.  The bodice and skirt can be the same pattern, or colored separately.

Add Some Glitter and Shine

To  accessorize my outfit, I tucked a pink rose behind my ear, and slipped on some chandelier-style earrings.  My Sparkle Rose was a bargain for only 30L at the Fukin Cute store on the Marketplace.  The package included a purple, a pink, and a white mesh rose.  I opted to wear just one, but you can add all three flowers if you wish.  With a bit of basic editing, I adjusted the position of the posey to fit just where I wanted.  My heart-shaped, dangling earrings from Elemental Earth Designs added more sparkle, and a playful touch of movement.  Versatile, texture change beads make this pair of earrings seem like a set of six in one for only 75L.

About the Puppy Eating Ice Cream… 

I’m hoping that a certain canine someone doesn’t get upset by my solo ice cream escapade tonight.  Back in his younger days, we used to stop at a local creamy stand on our way home from obedience class for the “Doggie Delight” special.  (I wasn’t above a little bribery now and then).  It must have worked, because we earned the “Most Improved” award at the end of the course.   To make up for stopping without him, I’ll take Ripley out for a cool treat this weekend, but until then, can we keep this just between us?

Hello FabFree! In my neck of the RL woods, the sun is shining and it’s beginning to warm up! While there is still snow trying to melt away, the birds are chirping at each other once again.  I am sure this is just a little tease of spring, but I’ll allow it to trick me just this one time so the birds and  I can enjoy it.
