The Day After Easter

Let’s be honest, for a lot of us, this is the reality of the day after Easter. I’ll have to make room in my refrigerator for this giant chocolate bunny because it will take me at least a month to eat it. Welcome back to the blog Fab Free’rs, as always I’m happy you’re here. Pink Pru Bunny

I think everyone should know that I am seriously considering spending the rest of April in this pink bunny suit. Hello there Fab Free’rs! We are inching toward Easter, which in my opinion yields some of the best holiday candy of all the holidays; second only to Halloween.

Speaking of candy, Andika sent out this sweet pastel striped lollipop out in their notices not too long ago. It has a bento hold pose and the Andika group is free to join. As for my bunny suit, yes, it is every bit as comfortable as it looks. It’s also a free gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members by Tiar, and it happens to be unisex. The suit comes in blue, and pink with standard mesh sizes for each color. The Fab Free group is of course free to join. The very best part of this blotd (bunny look of the day) are these absolutely adorable socks. They are the Evil Bunny Hunt prize at Atlantis Design. Enchanted Easter

Hello Fab Free, thanks for being here. My guy Blue and I were talking the other day and he started telling me about a dollarbie hunt a Simply Shelby that had lots of purple, unicorns, crystals, and fanciful things. I didin’t need to hear anything else. Are you kidding me? Unicorns, crystals, and lots of purple? I was in!

There are 12 pink, blue, or yellow Easter eggs hidden around the grounds at Simply Shelby for the Starry Skies Easter Egg Hunt. This hunt will last from now until April 14th.  All the prize eggs are priced at just 1 linden each. In each egg there is a landscaping or décor item that is either Easter or fantasy themed, and most of them include the color purple. With the exception of the flowery grass filling in, everything in the above scene is a dollarbie hunt prize.

Lastly, there are 2 additional shops with their own prizes as part of the Starry Skies Easter Egg Hunt. I’ve included the ad for this hunt below to give you a preview. If you click on the hunt sign at any participating location, you should get a notecard with some hunt information and the landmarks to all 3 participating locations.

Fab Free Designer Friday – 04/14/2017 – No Cabide

Hello Fab Free’rs! I hope everyone has enjoyed the start of the weekend so far. I know I am. For those that celebrating the Easter holiday, happy Easter just in case I don’t “see” you again before then! Thanks for coming by, this week’s Fab Free Designer Friday is a little shop called No Cabide. The first time I recall having encountered No Cabide is at one of the annual Cart Sales at The Wash. It’s another one of those great shops that had grown by leaps and bounds.

No Cabide sells a wide variety of casual mesh and applier women’s clothing and shoes. I would describe the style of the clothing as both sexy and casual. Just inside the entrance you’ll find the “circulation” desk and the most recent new releases. If you venture to the right and look for some shiny heart shaped balloons you’ll find a wall of gorgeous group gifts. This is also where the pretty dress No Cabide has out as their FREE exclusive Fab Free group gift can be found. You may remember seeing it in Serena’s post “ It’s Friday I’m in Love.”  Of course there are several other group gifts, including a few for the FREE to join No Cabide group. Also, while you’re shopping you might spot a few piles of pretty Easter eggs scattered about. I have to tell you I’ve been eyeing this double bun hairstyle by Olive for weeks now. It’s their Arcade gacha item, and at 75 lindens per play I’m really glad I gave in and played the machine. This mesh hairstyle has tons of color hud options to be had, and a rare “glittler roots” version. Again, the style is 75 lindens per play, and since it’s a gacha the hair is transferable so you can swap with others for the color you want!

Last but never least, shoes! I won’t wax poetic about my love for shoes, this time, even though these chunky pumps from HOC Industries are worth the effort.
