A friend of mine teleported me over to Artizana Ethnic Couture’s mainstore recently because a couple of of the group Lucky Boards had some interesting men’s prizes on them. Within a short amount of time (the boards change letters every 5 minutes) I got myself a couple of great outfits. Artizana specializes in brightly colored African- and Carribean-style clothing for women, but has a small line of men’s clothing as well. There are eight lucky boards (six of which currently have women’s clothing) and two MM boards, but you have to join the group to win from any of the boards.
One of the men’s Lucky Board prizes at Artizana is the mesh Nidolo XIII vested outfit in brown and tan which is a bit of a departure from Artizana’s usual ethnic specialty. Nidolo can also be purchased like the single-colored one in this picture in any of several color schemes, and consists of a shirt, vest, and pants as three separate pieces so that you can mix and match the pieces with other things in your wardrobe. You can also purchase either the “classic” or the “exotic” versions of the Nidolo Collection which gets you a mix and match texture change HUD giving you 16 options for the vest and pants and 20 options for the shirt and tie. I took this picture outside the Artizana mainstore to show you the lovely garden there full of exotic flowers in case you’re looking for a good place to take some pictures for this month’s FabFree “May Flowers” photo challenge.
The picture on the right is the other Artizana men’s Lucky Board prize, the mesh Lakana II Bogolan Dashiki with matching pants and kufi cap. Dashikis are amazingly comfortable and cool to wear during hot weather so I went over to the visually stunning KwaZulu Natal African region to take this picture. While I was walking around looking for a place to take the picture I happened upon this little herd of elephants splashing in a pool of water. If it looks like I’m glancing nervously to the side in this picture it’s because this cute little elephant’s mother was just off camera to the side trying to swat me away with her trunk.

Ydea is a freebie clothing hunter’s paradise for both men and women. Every month there are new group gifts for both sexes and the group is free to join. Better yet, the previous group gifts stick around for awhile. There are two whole walls full of outfits, one for men and one for women, that you can pick up for absolutely no charge at all. Ydea’s new April gift, the Tropez shorts outfit, put me in a warm weather mood, so I ambled over to the Tiki bar to get a picture of it for you. The outfit comes with a mesh overshirt, shorts with sculpty legs, and mesh sneakers.
And how about this little beauty? I’m talking here about the outfit, not the car. If you happen to own a white sports car you can find the perfect outfit for cruising around with the top down on the Ydea past group gift board. The Grant outfit includes pants layer dress pants, black buckled sculpty shoes, and a blue mesh jacket with open collared shirt.
Another good place to find free men’s clothing is Resun. Resun specialzes in outfits with a bit of a European fashion flair to them. In addition to the regular group gift near the entrance, there are group freebies scattered among the regular-priced items (you just have to look for them) and there is a separate discount area with lower-priced older items. Hello, my name is Prudence, and I am in LOVE with the new Fab Free Headquarters Gifts, it’s true! Have you guys made it out to the new FFHQ yet? I could brag about it all day, it really is that Fabulous. Like anyone I do however have my own personal favorite of the gifts, and for those of you who have not already ran over to grab it up, I’d like to show it to you here. Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a few new goodies now available at the Fab Free Headquarters! There are always fun new finds there, so it is good to check back often. To start, don’t you just love this sweet looking red-lipped skin? I thought it was too cute! This skin from Style by Kira is named “Jessica” and is one of the many new gifts at Fab Free Headquarters. The outfit to the left is also one of the gifts, this one is from dirty.little.secret and I love the paisley pattern! Paisley is almost always a hit with me. Next, you can also pick these two vest-like tops as part of the gifts from Lucifer’s Heart. The textures are very well done, I could easily see wearing them with a cute fedora and some tailored pants!

The leaves are already starting to change over here and despite the shorter days and colder weather, the colours are definitely prettiest this time of year!
So here I have two Autumny dollarbies for you! The overalls and the Kaftan are both 1L$ on the Marketplace as ‘wearable demos’ by Attic, meaning they’re demos that don’t have all the crazy demo textures.
