Second Life is about imagination. We can do things, see things, BE things in Second Life that we can only dream about. It’s a fantasy world where we each get to be a star.
Monarchs Kingdom is not a store. They are a performance dance troupe, and you can attend their live shows or watch their videos here. So how, you ask, did they end up on the FabFree blog???
Each month, their creator, Royal Shippe, places a group gift of decor out for free. Royal isn’t any ordinary dance designer, he’s won awesome awards like the Avichoice Performance Artist of the Year. The gifts are elaborate set pieces from the many awesome shows he’s created. They are 100% original.
The April gift (called the Megapack Holo Trees & Humanoid Statues) is pictured above includes a whole set of large and small holographic trees in a variety of colors and this sculpture called Corellia (which comes with a mirror). I paired the set with a post set from Something New called Dress Me Again that is currently available at Cheeky Wow for a sweet 50L!!!

My heart breaks when one of my favorite designers leaves the grid. Had you known me 12 years ago, you would know I as one of the Rebel Hope Super Fans. But, sadly, that store is no more. Purple Moon, one of FAVORITE designers, left the grid a while back. Each design was unique and there were just amazing deals each week for fresh NEW styles not found other places. Their Advent Calendar was, hands down, the very best on the grid. My heart broke when Purple Moon closed up shop.
But, I am happy to report, Purple Moon is BACK!!! Now Called PM, they are sporting a smaller boutique with fabulous fresh designs and updates for previous threads. There are Group Gifts (99L Group Fee) and Lucky Chairs, but my new fave? The Look of the Week! Pictured above, the Look of the week offers up one design for 55L. This adorable little jumper is just in time to usher in the Spring! This jumper will be available until April 4th, so run, ladies!
Our hearts ache for our Ukrainian friends. In SL, we all probably know someone directly impacted by the horrors of the Russian-Ukrainian war. We feel helpless; they might feel hopeless. How do we help?
This newest couples pose from Something New struck me as being entirely appropriate for these aching times. “Why Her?” is available for L100 at the Pose Event running until April 19th.
On the same day I picked up the pose, No.Match released their recent charity hairstyle, No_War. The hair is beautiful, and 100% of the proceeds go to Ukrainian Aid efforts. I not only bought my customary blonde pack for 50L, but then went on and bought the fatpack (of colors I will never wear) for 200L. The braids can be worn with or without the “Dandelion” add-on of blue and yellow ribbons and flowers.
We feel so helpless in real life to help our Ukrainian friends. We can’t go help; we can’t provide a warm bed or a comforting hug. But, what we CAN do is remember them daily. Honor them daily. Wear their colors of blue and yellow. Fly their flag.
Innocent people are dying, and even if we can only stand up virtually, let’s stand together for peace. Create scenes like this one to remind us that this war, like all wars, is in color.
I love love love weddings. If you’ve read some of my previous posts like this one, you know I am always trying to help a girl say YES to a cheap dress!!! And, who knows, one of these days Angus might even propose! He definitely gets a lot of practice suiting up in his tux!

I was on my weekend rounds looking for EVEN MORE lipstick. I mean, really, how much virtual lipstick can a girl use??? But, I also had a hankering for a wedding dress that is affordable. All those Valentine Proposals are nearing fruition, right? I can’t let you girls hang! I couldn’t find anything affordable, so I went on over to Marketplace and on my FIRST TRY found this amazing Nia gown from Tiffany Designs for just 45L!
I love that the flexi is optional. I loved the little shoulder sparkly veil thing, but maybe that’s not your thang. No worries! Just detach. Don’t want the added sparkly train? I love me a good fashion event in SL. I love them more when gifts or dollarbies are a part of it!!! The TWE12VE Event is one of my favorite. Great designers and really nice 12L dollarbies & even a freebie!!! I picked up this adorable “Lucky” dress from Shanti just in time for St. Patty’s Day (freegift, no group required), and these adorable Origami earrings from LooLoo & The Platypus to match. The earrings come in gold, silver, and variations of color with those metals. For 12L, you can’t go wrong! Twe12ve is running until March 31st.
This outfit, partnered with the cute LePoppycock Pose, “Versions of April: Fragrance Fling” that I got off their amazing Next Up machines on a 75L pull, puts me in a Spring mood!

Mondays are wonderful in Second Life! In addition to a full day to unpack all those sales boxes from the weekend, Apple Fall does something unique called the Monday Perk. If you are a member of their 10L group, you simply go stand at the inworld store for like 5 minutes and you get registered into their weekly drawing! Winners can win either a L$2,500 cash prize or a L$2,500 Store Credit just for showing up. While you are there, take a peak at all their cool decor items and free group gifts!!!
Update: Looks like Apple Fall *just* announced that they are discontinuing this program, right after this post was published. Alas!

The Band is back together!!! The Fab Four rock band, “The Blogger Babes,” got back the band back together in true Blues Brothers (Sisters!) style to check out this sweet new background from Something New! Called “All Girl Band,” this fun pose set can be found at the Cheeky Wow Event for 200L. While you are there, pick up their 10L pose, “Tune My Piano.” There are four OTHER musical poses (singles and couples with fancy musical props!!) in the stand ranging from 50L -100L. These deals are DEFINITELY worth a road trip. Caroline, Arielle, Juli and I had a blast playing with the poses and adding props!
