The Creative Process

Ah, Fab Free…the creative juices are a-flowin!  And there’s a sentence that sounded better in my head.  Despite my clunky phrase, the sentiment remains the same!  I’m all about the artistic pursuits, whether in RL or SL, so why not adorn your SL affordably?  Read on!

So De’Fient

My lovely boots and dress are the offering by De’Fient Unicorn at The Wash Crisp n Cool Cart Sale.  They come bundled together and are priced at a very affordable 50L.  I’d pay way more than that for the boots alone!  I also picked up the long cardigan at the same stall, and it only cost me 1L.  Cute, right?

Easel-y Done

Terrible subtitles aside, I love the whole art set I picked up at The Cart Sale by Luna Rose.  The easel I’m painting on and the stool came together and cost 50L.  The exciting part is that the canvas has a function that lets you paint gradually.  In other words, the painting appears more and more complete each time you click on it and there are two different paintings to choose from.  Fun!  I also picked up the canvases on the ground in my shot at the same cart, and they set me back only 25L.  I love to decorate in SL, so these were fun buys for me!

I’ll Let You Drive

Hi There Fab Free! Happy Weekend! The weather has been nice, and I’m ready to go for a drive! First, I’ve got a few things I’m excited to share with you today. This hot little car Pru’s posed next to is a 10 linden RFL Home & Garden Expo Hunt gift by Surplus Motors. There are lots of 10L gifts to be found, and the proceeds benefit RFL. The Car – I’m not even sure where to start with this gorgeous vehicle. There are so many cool features. This isn’t just a piece for show, this highly detailed car by Surplus Motors is fully functional. There are seating poses for a driver and a passenger, and the car has manual and automatic drive options. The driver and passenger doors open, as does the hood and the back trunk where the engine is, even the lights are functional. This 10 linden RFL H&G Expo Hunt prize has customization options as well, there are 5 preset colors, and the option to pick your own custom color using RGB values. Stupid Cupid Cute

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the middle of the week than with some dollarbies from the Stupid Cupid Hunt! The Stupid Cupid Hunt is a dollarbie hunt, so each prize is just 1 linden. The hunt item is a cupid’s arrow. For this post I hunted TSCH prizes at EscalateD, DeFient Unicorn, and Prism. Keep reading for all the info about each of these 1 linden prizes.

The Hair – This adorably messy up-do is the TSCH prize at EscalateD. It comes in 2 variations, each with a mirrored version also, and has 3 mini color change huds. A unique feature for this style is the added ability to color change both sides of the hair the same or differently.

Keep Calm

Hello Fab Free’rs! Does any one know what day it is? I am feeling the hectic side of the holidays and sometimes I don’t know if I am coming or going! Luckily I have you guys, some good friends, and a cup of hot tea to remind me to slow down a minute and relax. I also get to take the time to share with you more fantastic Cart Sale finds and a fun addition from the Holiday Ho Ho Ho hunt.

The Sweater & Boots – Even my shoes are telling me to be calm today! These boots by De’Fient Unicorn are available at The Cart Sale and the best part (in my opinion) is the message on the sole of the shoe. Also at the De”Fient Unicorn Cart Sale booth is this pretty playful sweater dress. I chose to wear it with jeans because, baby it’s cold outside! It comes in several mesh sizes and has a texture change hud with 5 patterned/graphic options to choose from. Also, this item has an alpha layer and is suitable for classic avatars!

Musing Again

Sometimes when I’m thinking about what to write on my posts, inspiration comes from super weird places.  I was looking at the pic I took for this post, and the pattern on the dress made me think of a pencil case I used to have back in my elementary school days.  Back then it was all about the swirling colours, the intense and vibrant shapes and being as loud as you possibly could.  Well, at least in your colour choices…Not sure the teacher would have approved of vocal loudness!  Anyway, let’s get down to business!

I Love It
