Laundry Day!

Here I am gang, back again in stark contrast to my previous (solo – not the one where I am fending off a pack of wild redheads) post, I’m back to my old self again and catching up on some chores.  Plants watered, check.  Blog posts done, check.  Rent paid, check.  Laundry…. in progress!

Doing the laundry is much more fun when you can bring along some adorable cuteness with you to snuggle and smooch while you wait!  My favorite part about laundry is when the dryer stuff comes out nice and toasty… ahhhhhh.  Even if it is hot out for some reason, the heat in fresh laundry is so soothing.  I wonder why that is.  Do you know?

Of course with all my laundry needing to get done, I had to find a new outfit to wear while I washed the rest and so I headed over to the Free Dove, cause I haven’t been in a while, to see what newness they might have.  I wasn’t disappointed of course because I found this to die for outfit (I may live in this and be buried in it!).  I absolutely love the bohemian pattern on the top with the Indian elephants.  Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I know I show you all sorts of styles in my posts my friends, but bohemian (and my whimsical side LURVES Kawaii) is where my soul does a happy dance.  I don’t find nearly as much bohemian as I would like nowadays, it feels like the entire grid is obsessed with jumpsuits lately.  So when I do find it, get out of the way cause Imma gonna do a big ol happy dance!!!

Bonus points if I can find Bohemian and Pink combined!  That’s absolutely ME to a T!

Need Caffeine

There are days when an extra cup of coffee or two first thing in the morning, and a mid-day pick-me-up are in order to keep me going. So when I saw this top by ZFG it made me giggle, and I knew at least some of you would relate. lol To help fend off a minor case of the Mondays I went over to the 35L Sales Event (thanks to a suggestion from Blue) and picked up quite a few of the free group gifts available, including this top. Also, I couldn’t resist the necklace from Venge. This free gift includes 3 color/texture change huds to change the chain with a choice of copper, gold, or silver. Hi Again Fab Free’rs! I call this look “when it’s laundry day but you still wanna look cute for Easter.” hahaha Really, I had a lot of fun with a few more finds from The Rotten Egg Hunt, and this fun “Need Laundry” pose by DANU. I picked up this cute top at The Rotten Egg Hunt, it’s by Secret Oktober. Also while at The Rotten Egg Hunt I picked up a really pretty crescent shaped bindi by Valika Rituals. The Pose – This fun laundry pose is a Marketplace find by DANU. It’s just 37 linden and it includes a pose-ball pose, and the laundry basket prop. The basket comes white, but I tinted it darker. I also needed to shrink it down to fit between Pru’s hand and hip, which was easy to in edit mode since the basket does not have any scripts. Have fun, and do your laundry!

The Top – Secret Oktober has 5 versions of this cropped bunny sweater at The Rotten Egg Hunt. I was excited to find the number 5 egg and get the bunny with the spider. It felt a little bit like Easter and a little bit like Halloween, which suits my exceedingly eclectic tastes. lol These tops are just 10 linden each, and come in a Maitreya fit only.

The Bindi – This pretty little bindi by Velika Rituals is one of the dollarbie Rotten Egg Hunt prizes. At just 1 linden, it is way too nice to pass up. I’m loving accessories that are free of scripts like this one, sometimes simple really is best. You can resize, and even change the color of this bindi by using the edit menu. Just don’t forget to make a copy first!
