Wake me up in spring

Yesterday, I moved out of my Skydome which served as my first SLhome for the past 3 months and while I was looking for plants to landscape my new place with, I noticed Alirium had a couple of group gifts out! I can’t believe I never noticed them before since Alirium has been around for as long as I can remember and I often visit to take photos! Join the group for free to get hold of these static butterflies in many colours (great to wear or for home decor and fully moddable) as well as these amazing tree-inspired antlers. They come a lot larger than in the photo but I had to scale them down using the resizers inside them so they’d fit into the frame! I think they’d look fantastic with fantasy or RP outfits for Fairies, Elves, Dryads or Satyrs!

The gorgeous jewelry I’m wearing is the new group gift from Lazuri and it is a doozy! You get earrings, bracelets and necklaces all with wide colour-change options (you can even colour the pearls independently!) so you can rest easy knowing you look sublime in any outfit. The catch is though, that the Lazuri group is no longer free to join, so if you’re already a member of the Lazuri group then don’t leave as it will cost you 250L$ to get back in! 250L$ for a group might seem a little steep to some of you but I assure you it’s totally worth it (I always wondered why they weren’t charging group fees for such wonderful gifts back when it was free!) but not only do you get access to the gorgeous (and frequent) gifts, you can also make the most of group-only discounts on new releases! All of Lazuri’s pieces are very beautiful and professional looking, extremely well made and almost always come with a wide variety of colour options.

Hey everyone! I have a challenging little hunt to tell you about today! The RMK halloween hunt is going on right now and some of you may know them for their creative hunting games! It’s a tricky hunt but definitely a whole lot of fun and very rewarding! The hunt is free to take part in, you even get a free HUD and low-lag costume to wear as you run around the RMK mall collecting candy ingredients to make sweets! If you deliver the right sweet to the right ghost, they’ll give you a prize ticket you can use to redeem for a present at the corresponding store! There are more detailed instructions, candy recipes and ghost maps on the RMK site so be sure to give it a thorough read before you start!

There are 23 prizes in total but only 10 ghosts. The prize tickets are given out randomly so chance are I won’t be able to show you all the gifts in time. But maybe you’ll have better luck! This pretty lingerie is mesh believe it or not and is the prize from Ambrosia for the hunt! It comes with babydoll, panties, ribbon, garter and cute little bear ears! Also part of the hunt are these adorable pumpkins from Half Deer! They come in 4 different designs and are a super cute addition to any halloween-themed home!

In conclusion, this hunt isn’t for those who prefer the easy ‘find an object, click, receive prize’ kind of hunts but for those willing to put the effort into the RMK hunt you’ll definitely be rewarded very handsomely!

I wouldn’t make a very good ringmaster. But you really should go check out the Dimbula Rose Carnival! The doll skin I’m wearing is a group luckyboard prize (there’s also a male version to win too!). The group is free to join and whilst you’re waiting for your letter to come up, you can have a look around the Carnival! It’s a very nice place and beautifully decorated. But if you don’t feel like waiting around, you can buy the skins for 50L$ each next to the luckyboards.

If you head upstairs behind the luckyboards you’ll enter a little discount shop full of really cute halloween costumes for girls and boys. The dress I’m wearing is a free gift. Just buy it for 0L$, you don’t even need a group tag! The dress isn’t mesh and it comes with the skirt, top and neck bow you see above. I think it’s a great halloween costume for those of you who want to look more adorable than terrifying this year!

The candy fair starts on friday, so I’m here early to show you some things that will tantalise your tastebuds! Those with a sweet tooth are gonna love this event. So many different stores selling a variety of things from poses to homeware to clothing to skins! The fair spans across three candy-themed sims so there’s lots for you to explore. Not to mention the bargains to be had! Many stores have set out free gifts, dollarbies and cheapies so you don’t need to break the bank to look sweet! So without further delay, let me show you some of the affordable goodies you can find!

First off, my t-shirt is a 1L$ gift at the Que Bella stall. It’s very cute and it comes with a Hud for every mesh boob applier imaginable! Don’t have Lolas? No problem! The HUD supports IBoobs, Vstring, Lush, Bbusty, Eboobs and Mused as well.

The awesome pixel candy bracelet I have on is just 1L$ at the fair by Kawaii! Just the right amount of cute and nerdy! Also 1L$ is  my cotton candy! It’s by birdy and comes in a big pack with lots of colours. Each cotton candy comes with a hold pose so you can carry it around with you on your tasty adventures!

I’ve tinted and resized my dice for the shot but they’re perfect for decor or functional dice! If you click and drag across the dice when they’re rezzed on the ground you can throw them! I felt it was a great addition to the photo as the candy fair sim is designed to look like a candy-themed board game.

You might notice I look a little different today. That’s because I’m wearing the Avatar 2.0 mesh avatar from Utilizator (300L$) so that I can show you this halloween- themed skin mod by Free!. The base avatar itself can look repetitive around the grid but the avatar is extremely easy to modify. You just rez the avatar on the ground and drag and drop your texture onto it and boom, you have a completely different look! Free! makes a lot of skin mods for the Avatar 2.0 but the halloween one is available for just 5L$. The skin is not for regular avatars, it is a texture made for Utilizator’s Avatar 2.0 only.

Since we’re now into the month of Halloween, I thought I’d show you this dress from The Little Bat! It’s a ‘pay what you want’ item so you can pay as little as 1L$ for it or if you’re feeling generous or just have a little bit more money to throw around then you can pay more for it if you wish. It’s entirely up to you! While you’re there, be sure to play the Guess & Win, camp at the luckyboards and give the Midnight Mania boards a tap!

Care first showed you these back when they were 10L$ but I thought I’d show them again since they’ve gone down in price significantly! In the set you get horns, nubs, hooves and a tail. I tinted mine a little to make them darker but they come in a fluffy tan colour which is pretty too.
