Rest in Peace, My Baby Boy

Ok FabFree… this post is about to get emotional. In this post, I will be talking about loss and grief so be prepared for that before reading.  Last month, I lost my beloved furbaby in real life. It was heartbreaking for me, as I had an incredibly special and close bond with my cat. It really broke me in half, but I have been working through my grief.  Apparently, there have been a lot of people in SL lately who have lost their cats and other pets in recent times. For those of you out there who may be going through this, just know you are not alone. I will never forget him as long as I live in both worlds and I will love him until the day I die.

Little Angels

The incredible creator Dalriada Delwood of MOoH! created a set of  “ghost” kitties for those of us who have lost our cats. I thought it was so beautiful that MOoH! came out with these, as it is a lovely little reminder of my beloved little guy who I can carry with me around SL. Twin Cats

Hey FabFree! I have a new feline friend and we decided to go out on a spooky walk together.

To start off, I am showing a few more free gifts from the Halloween Shop & Hop, including:

Crazy Cat Lady or Non-Morning Person?

Heya Faboos!

I swear I am not the crazy cat lady y’all have been hearing about!  I swear, I’m really just not a morning person and I needed to put the cat out! (was he on fire??)  Just me trudging downstairs to let the foolish little felines out for the day, lest they meow me to death!  Meow, meow silly, meow meow!

And why does meow starts to look like it’s spelled wrong if you keep looking at it?

Anyhoo!  If you *are* that crazy cat lady, or have dreamt of being a so called cat lady, OR you just can’t get enough cats in your sl world, then read on!

The Arcade, as you might know, is in full swing again.  And if you can get the machines to play nice with you, you can put together this outfit by Belle Epoque, who has a whole machine filled with robes, cats, cats to put out, cats to carry, even cats to put on your head!  Oh the delight of it all!  This machine is only 50L per play and this is the full key of what’s available:

Winter Isle

What a wonderful time for a Hunt

HOLIDAY ISLE HUNT 2020 is filled with amazing goodies to get you in the jolly holiday spirit and you don’t want to miss this amazing free hunt! All around the sim you will find little gifts from a ton of designers and you really should hurry and snag yours now!

Kiss Me

Have you been to The Season’s Story yet? There are so many free gifts at this the 6th and final round of The Seasons Story event. It’s sad to see another event go, but I’m still excited about the great gifts. For this post I picked the free TSS gifts by Evermore, Yasum, Vincue, and Dazed. Evermore

These Kitty ears by Evermore are just too cute. I love the texture, the black and orange with little white accents is perfect for a Halloween cat. They are animated, and they come in 3 sizes. Also, they are absolutely free at The Seasons Story, no group needed.

Yasum

The perfect black lip is nice to have year-round however it is essential for the Halloween season. Yasum has a pretty velvet matte lip applier for Catwa heads for free at The Seasons Story. What makes this applier set even better is there are several options for little phrases, or even a few graphic designs. I chose “Kiss Me” because who doesn’t love a good smooch!

Vincue

No Halloween Kitten would be complete without this adorable collar by Vincue. It’s really pretty and detailed. This free gift at The Seasons Story comes in several sizes so it fits perfectly, the option of gold or silver for the metal bits, and has a color change hud for the fabric, ribbon, and pom poms with quite a few choices for each. Also, I want to point out that for this photo I am not actually wearing the collar, but rather had rez’d it and positioned it so that it showed best with the pose I’m using. This collar does not sit askew.

The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt!

Greetings fashionably fabulous ones!

My  post today is ALL about The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt!  This hunt is based on the classic movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Audrey Hepburn.  It’s one of those movies that stands the test of time and did it with fashionable flair.  I won’t give away to many details of the movie, in this post, just in case you want to watch it.  The link I am providing, for The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt, will take you to the page that will give you photos of the hunt items from each creator, SLURLS and hints.  The hunt consists of clothing and home decor items…which I will feature today.  ALL items in the hunt are FREE.

In the first shot I am showing the fabulous outfit from Brii Underground Wear (#5 on the hunt list) and it includes the jacket, pencil skirt, glasses (not worn), makeup (not worn), peeptoe shoes (not worn) and hat.  The Suitcase with Telephone is from Resplendent Rose (#9 on the hunt list) and the projector, table, extra movie reels, tub sofa, cat with no name, record player and projector screen are all part of the Audrey Cinema Set hunt gift from Arcana Antiques & Oddities (#15 on the hunt list).  The cigarette holder, from Bloody Mess, is no longer available.  My Zebra Peeptoe Heels, worn in all photos, are from Babydoll (#95 on the hunt list) for the Sexy and I know it Hunt.  The Sexy and I know it Hunt ended on May 18th but the hunt symbol and shoes were still there when I checked earlier today!

The Givenchy-esq Little Black Dress I am wearing, in this next photo, is the hunt item from Cog & Fluer (#30 on the hunt list)…it comes with the drop pearl necklace that I layered with the Eye Candi choker pearl necklace.  The love seat, wall art piece and zebra rug are the hunt items from Potpourri Designs (#25 on the hunt list).

A Deadly S{k}in in Laney’s Clothing

If you’ve never been to a little shop called Laney’s, this is the time to go! The clothing is reminiscent of a 1950’s pin-up style, vintage, flirty, and fun! I caught word of Laney’s sassy little vintage kitty cat costume Halloween gift, and had to check it out. While I was there, I came across some other group gifts and a couple lucky boards.
