We Wish you a Puppy Christmas and a Woofy New Year

Hey gang!

I don’t know about y’all but I’ve just about run myself ragged!  My little holiday helpers and I have been hard at work putting up the tree and decorations as well as the usual chores like laundry and cleaning before the holiday!  We are all pooped.  Why, even the little man can’t stifle a big yawn!  (and one of the pups found some nice toasty laundry fresh out of the dryer for his nap!)

It’s been a super busy weekend, so it’s time for a little nap for the pups and some chill time for me.  There will still be plenty to do before the holiday, like wrap gifts and bake Christmas cookies, etc etc!  So I need to rest up too, so let’s talk about the goodies I have for you and then I can maybe grab a quick nap too! (any room left in that toasty laundry???)

Have yourself a Little Puppy Christmas…

So, its not a *new* group gift per se, but it was so fun to pull out of my archives this year and it is still available, and that’s my santa hat from Jian, which of course, in Jian style, is not without some cute!  It’s got a sleeping puppy in it!  Sooooo Squeeeee-able!  For the cat people out there, the gift also comes with a kitten version.

This is a free group gift, the group is free to join, it fits everyone, even the guys out there bold enough to wear cuteness under their santa hat (if you are single that’s a great cute conversation starter to meet girls! You’re welcome!)

HEXtraordinary, not to be outdone in the cuteness department, have an adorbs set of dachshunds for us, 50L each.  They are animesh, some are sporting super cute Christmas sweaters and antlers, there are wanderers, companions….  This is for Secret Sale Sunday, *today* so hurry over if you fancy yourself a very cute weenie pup!  I love their little wagging tails!  I’m showing the non Christmas Cream colored one, snuggled next to me.

For the Practical Minded (not usually me  lol)

Careless, whom we have blogged before has their entire line of furniture totally free at Communal Bliss.  I’m showcasing one of the pink sofas, behind me.  They are all so well made, with great animations, and for free you can’t beat the price.  Each set comes with loads of color choices and styles.  I do confess I scooped them *all* up so I can change my decor at will!  All the items are free and there is no group needed.

Lastly, but not leastly, one more (sort of) practical item, my shoes.  It has taken me near the entire month to get these but I finally got one of the Rare Shoes by Pure Poison at The Arcade.   They are 50L a play.  Yes, even the non rare ones are cute.  😉

There’s No Place Like Home

Hey gang!  For today’s finds, I am taking you inside my humble abode, and also to our new Fab Free Headquarters!  So travel around the grid with me if you will!  We Fab Free sisters live and breathe freebies and deals so that means we use them in our little corners of the grid, just like y’all do!  We try to set a good example by *trying* to live frugally! (not always easy!  hee hee)

So, let’s get started, as I have a lot to show you.  Above is my kitchen table area, I did this with a kitchen set from Careless (I didn’t even put everything out!) that cost me only 49L.  It’s super cute and I added a couple of odds and ends from them too.  The poses are great too, really well made stuff!

Below is my living room.  My couch and chair are a set, also from Careless, but they are a group gift meaning they are free cause the group is free to join as well!  If this color isn’t your thing, you guessed it, she has other colors for 49L!  The cute Tulips on my mantle?  10L at Careless.  The little trees with lights are from Caro Designe on market and you can get them for 50L.

Below you can see I used the little trees from Caro in more than one place, they are just sooo pretty!  The pink Paris themed dresser with fairy lights?  That’s one of my creations and you can grab that at Shanti for only 50L!

Here is another market find that I absolutely love, these little lantern lights from What Next.  You can grab these on their marketplace store for only 10L!  They are stunning, let me tell you!  You can of course put them anyplace you like, I strung them along my fence by the pool.

Lastly, I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to pop by and check out the new headquarters yet, but in keeping with the fab free spirit, the house we used is of course free.  It’s a free group gift from Greymoon Designs (who has adorable houses!  I live in one (and own several!  lol!), and the group is only 50L to join.  When you join, you can grab a bunch of cute houses on the group gifts wall and here is the one we used (C-Side Cottage):

Cae is Closing… </3

I’m very sad by the recent news that one of my favourite jewelry stores is closing. Cae will be leaving SL at the end of June, so make sure you stop by the store and grab all their free gifts before they go away forever. A Boho Set

With Feathers in Her Hair

This cute hairstyle I am wearing today is yet another free functional demo from Alli&Ali Designs that I grabbed on the Marketplace. This one is called Olivia and she is gorgeous. The hair comes in a blonde-blue mix in the free colour. As I mentioned before in this blogpost, all of the demos by Alli&Ali Designs include one hair colour for free! This hair also has these amazing little feathers attached near the ears. It’s stunning.

Where the Magic Happens

Well hello there peeps!

Yes you guessed right, this is indeed where the magic happens. This is my in world blog writing place. It is a mirror version of my real life blog writing place which also has a pink desk and accessories, a pink gaming chair (though this in world one looks a lot cushier than my real life one, which after only a year and a half, has begun to fall apart, sigh.)…. my in world one also has a better view, as the real life one faces…. a wall. Lol. Nonetheless I have tried to make them mirror one another, as the me in second life is just like the me in real life.

Let’s Get this Party Started

So here I am about to sit and try to get as much done without getting distracted as I can. You might think my cup holds some coffee, but true to my oddball-ish-ness I can’t even stand the smell of coffee. So if it is cold out, this cup might hold some yummy Starbucks hot chocolate (which is ah-mazing!) or on most days lately, my newly discovered caffeinated water. I throw a little flavor packet in it, some ice, and I am good to go. Something to wake my little non morning person self up.

To the Business at Hand

 When the Working Day is Through…

When the working day is through it is time to just chill a bit.  I’m a comfort girl and I like my space to feel and be like a little haven for my weary soul (when you get to be my age, your soul shall be somewhat weary too!) So I just flop right down on my yummy pink couch (more on this below!) and ponder on how my day went and how I can improve on it tomorrow.  You see, I am very good at planning all the wonderful things I will accomplish *tomorrow*, however, when tomorrow becomes today, I unfortunately sometimes feel myself very unmotivated, and those many wonderful ideas suddenly don’t seem all *that* wonderful.  But at night, oh!  the possibilities are endless!

Yes this is another free group gift from Careless, our favorite under 50L furniture shop that we fab free girls love to shop at!  The group is free to join as well, and there are a myriad of group gifts on the wall.  If pink isn’t your thing (blasphemy!!!) then there are 12 other colors you can get this living room set in (yes it has adult too), each set costs (are you ready?) 25L!  The poses are fab, the furniture is well made!  I might need to go through her shop again and re-do my entire little house!  Every time I go she has added more yummy newness.  Gosh, you really can’t go wrong!

Decore Galore

Careless has been mentioned several times on FabFree already, and I just wanted to share some of their latest group gifts which you can grab with their completely free group. First off is this adorable sofa! You wouldn’t believe this sofa! It comes in over 20 colours- 20 separate couches and you can change the colour of the throw ad the pillows via a texture change hud. It’s amazing! I especially enjoyed the little “activities” animations included in the couch such as reading, talking on the phone and working on a laptop. The incredibly realistic cactus plants and the console table are also free gifts at Careless. Around the Corner

What’s even more amazing about the Careless sim is that it is totally filled with freebies around the corner! If you walk to a nearby shop with the label “FREEBIES” at the front of the store front, you will find a store that houses many freebies from Upcycled and Broken Princess. For now, I am calling this little stores the “freebies shack”. 😉 I had been looking to collect all of the finds from Upcycled, and older shop that was around in an era before I joined SL. To my happiness, all of  Upcycled‘s items are available for free! There is a lot of cute decor, omega applier clothing and other goodies all for free. The item shown from Upcycled in my post today is the cute window shutter counter, which I often used to decorate my home. No group is needed to collect any of these goodies- just snatch them all up for 0L a piece!

I ❤ Broken Princess

In addition to the amazing gifts by Upcycled, there are also TONNES of free jewelry in the little freebies shack I describe above. All of these free jewels are by Broken Princess, and there are so many for both women and men available! I am telling you, you have got to get over to that little freebies shack cause it’s amazing! Today I am showing one of the adorable butterfly necklaces and leaf earrings sets. Just like Upcycled, all the goodies at Broken Princess are completely free to grab for 0L.
