Happy, happy Thursday everyone! I was afraid I might not make it in time this week, as I am having a few issues with my internet provider, but as you can see, I toughed it out and have some great things to show you. I like to call this my hot Librarian look 😉 .
It all started when I was browsing through the notices in our very own FabFree group in world. I opened the notice from Braham Design, and they had this super cute pants suit group gift. The Ria outfit is free for Braham Design group members, and that group is free to join. The gift consists of mesh pants, a mesh shirt, and a mesh jacket. All pieces come in the standard sizes, and are meant to be worn together, with alpha’s provided to go without the jacket if you’d like. However, they will work separately as well, and since these pieces are all classics, they are for sure going to be staples in my wardrobe.
Naturally, I needed shoes. Now, I will admit, the shoes I went with, are highly unpractical for a real Librarian…luckily for me, this is SL, and all shoes are super-comfy *grins*. OK, so, I decided to stop at Shey’s, as I had heard a lot about them, but had not been. Well, I’ve been missing out. In the building labelled Shey Days, there are so many awesome deals, as well as group gifts…I couldn’t help but load up. I picked out the super-glam Trio Q Stilettos. They are for SLink high feet, and as seen in the picture, have a HUD with so many texture options. I had a hard time choosing colours for myself. Red and gold are a classic combination, and go so nicely with black…I think I have a winner. These beauties will set you back a piddly L$30.
I did mention group gifts from Shey, and how fortunate that one of these group gifts totally worked with my look. The simplistic beauty of the Kos Jewelry set, which includes a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet, are a perfect complement for my outfit. As I said, they are a free group gift, the group is free to join, and are actually included in a big grouping of jewelry. So even if this style is not working for you, there are several other pieces included in the group that you are bound to love. Oh, and don’t forget to grab all the other group gifts as well…let me just say…boots.
The last piece I wanted to share with you, is from Maxi Gossamer, and as so many of her jewelry pieces are, it is a statement piece! The gorgeous ring on my right hand is called Ketama, and is the current free group gift. The group is still free to join. You get 2 rings in this gift. a small version for your left hand, and this larger, eye-catching version for your right. Both rings are texture change through clicking on the ring itself, with metal options of gold or silver for each of the stone choices. I think it was the perfect final touch to this sexy Librarian.
OK Fabbies. I think I have done my job for the day. I have to admit, this is one of my favourite outfits I’ve put together, and I am going to get a lot of wear out of it. What can I say, I love looking good, for a good book 😉 . I hope you all have a great week, and I will see you all back here next Thursday. Until then, TTFN!
