A good book.

I love a good book… and old libraries are a favorite haunt of mine. I’m here at the library at Lorrey checking out the stacks of books to see what I can find.

Heading to the Library.

Before I headed to the shelves I spent a little time with my friend who always has his eye on the ball for a good deal. He really liked the Dirty Little Secrets Hunt and clued me in to this fantastic shirt by Shae’s Designs. Another Dirty Little Secret…

Another dirty little secret along the Hunt are my shoes! Yes, my friend was at it again, and pointed out this great pair of shoes by Barbed Wire Kisses. Finally…

Finally! I found the book I was looking for! It’s the Fabulously Free Tome of secrets! I knew it was here somewhere! Better yet, this Tome is a FabFree Group gift from Deadly Nightshade! Hunt down a good book!

I’m all settled in to read a good book… or two… or three! And thanks to Sway’s I can do it free! It’s like having my own free Second Life library with comfy pillows!

10th Birthday!

It’s Sway’s 10th Birthday! And they are celebrating with a birthday hunt and giving out a free exclusive prize… this gorgeous reading set which includes the pillows and book stack.

How to get your gift:

Teleport to Sway’s and at the landing point you’ll find a little area with all the information. Pick up the gift hud and wear it. It will show ten blank balloon spaces on the hud. You’ll need to hunt down the ten different colored balloons that are hidden all over the sim. There are not any balloons in any skyboxes; they are all on the ground. You must be close to the balloons when you click them for them to “fill” your hud.

Once you have touched all ten balloons and filled your hud, come back to the gift station and click the gift station to redeem your hud and get your free gift! It’s that easy!

Quick tip: I found that the hud covered part of my screen because of its placement. I edited it by moving it to the far top left of my screen to move it out of the way and that made hunting for the balloons much easier!

The hunt ends Oct 15th, 2017.

Coffee and Books Keep Me Youthful

Give me coffee and no one gets hurt! But seriously… I like my coffee. Who doesn’t? (Shhhhh… If you don’t — I don’t want to know!)

So I was off adventuring again, looking for a great spot to get my morning coffee and lucky for me the Vicarious Youth Cart at the Cart Wash Sale had just what I needed to top my morning off right! This great mesh cardigan (it comes in all the standard sizes and in two different colors as you can see on the cart picture at the bottom of the post) and was perfect for my morning wake up call! For only 10L it was the perfect added comfort to my morning cuppa Joe!

I also found this fabulous necklace and earring set for Ladies at EarthStones that matched just perfectly! (The earrings are hidden under my hair but I promise they are there.) These pretty understated beads called the “Arron Set” for ladies comes with a handy resize script and is a FREE group gift from EarthStones right now with your group membership. The group is 250L to join, but if you’ve not stopped by in a while, there were many gifts still sitting out for happy shoppers!

Once I had my coffee I was all set for some serious reading. (Who wouldn’t be?) And FauxDoll Rae didn’t let me down! I found this cute wearable poetry book (pose included! No need to rezz!) on the Marketplace for just 10L! The creator has included her own original art and poem on the book for you to read as well! How awesome is that!

What a day! Still not quite awake I stumbled into an amazing store namend GRANDMA! At first I only could see lots of books on the shelves around me. Ooops, I thought, wrong place – I´m not a granny , I´m not searching for books. Looking around a second time I noticed very nice oldfashioned clothes. And last but not least a freebie bag! It´s pink and you will find it next the entrance in the window. What was in the bag? Look at the pictures – I have to work now! Grandma told me to clean all the books. Omg, what a dusty monday!
