I’m also finding myself both excited and overwhelmed by all the giftiness (yes I know that’s not a word) around the grid. There are so many events and advents and hunts, it’s a lot! For this post I picked up free gifts from Mister Razzor, BONDI, and IDTTY at Access, and a fun Marketplace find by The Bold Llama. Keep reading for all the details!
Mister Razzor
I think it goes without saying that Mister Razzor is a favorite tattoo shop of mine. At the current round of Access, Mister Razzor has the cutest holiday face tattoo for free. It has pretty little snowflakes near your eyes, and says “let it go.” This tattoo comes in a BOM tattoo layer only. It also comes in white as well as black. You’ll need to join the free-to-joinAccess event group to get this and the many other free gifts. Just look for the blue gift boxes at each vendor booth.
BONDI
These unisex wire-frame glasses are the freeAccess group gift by BONDI at the Access event. The glasses have resize scripts, and include a color change hud with 4 preset choices for the frames and 4 the metal parts of the frames. The same hud also allows you to adjust the opacity of the lenses.
IDTTY
Also at Access, is this lovely matte lip-color by IDTTY. This lipstick shade is one of 4 subtle matte shades in the free “Real Love Collection” gift by IDTTY. This lipstick giftset comes in appliers for Catwa, Genus, and Lelutka heads only.
The Bold Llama
Lastly, I couldn’t resist this cute holiday top by The Bold Llama that I stumbled across on the Marketplace. This cute tank-top is just 25 linden, and if “cheeky” doesn’t suit you, you’ll find quite a few other choices like “Queen” and “Lit.” Each of these fun festive tops comes in quite a few sizes, and has an alpha layer so it can be worn by classic avatars.
Ghosts, goblins, mythical monsters, and the souls of the deceased are all said to come through to this plane of existence as the so called Veil thins. This group gift pose by IDK Poses inspired me to imagine other such entities that might cross over into our world during this mythically magical time. I also picked up one of several inexpensive finds on the ChicModa Spooktacular Hunt to help me bring this look to life. Keep reading for all the details about. Hello there Fab Free’rs. Thanks for being here. October is happening way too quickly for my liking. I’ve been having too much fun with all that Second Life has to offer this time of year. For today’s look I picked up a SL Frees & Offers group gift by Lovel, a group gift at Paniq, and a Marketplace dollarbie by POUT!. I felt like a cute quirky modern witch in this look I was able to put together with my finds. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Lovel has this cozy cropped hoodie for free with the SL Frees & Offers (SLF&O) group tag. The SLF&O group is free to join. I really like some of the details of this soft blue sweatshirt such as the lacing going up the sleeves. This top comes in the single baby blue color shown, and a version with the hood down instead of up like shown.

Paniq
The bright blue crystal and accompanying bento pose are a free group gift at Paniq. Perfect for October, the “Samhain Ritual” pose includes the crystal and a pose ball. The Paniq group has a join fee of 25 linden, and there are other group gifts also available.
POUT!
Finally, my eye makeup and lipstick are an oldie but definitely a goodie by POUT! that you can pick up for 1 linden on the Marketplace. This dollarbie makeup applier works with Catwa heads only. I think it’s a perfectly bewitching makeup look!
Alright so I’m gonna call this look a little bit Flash Dance, and a little bit Cats. haha I actually had a lot of fun dressing up and taking photos in this, especially since the outfit is completely free. I picked up the top, bottom, and adorable socks for free at Voluptas Virtualis. As soon as I put the outfit on I felt nostalgic for those iconic ’80s and ’90s dance movies. Maybe it’s time for a movie marathon? haha
This awesome gift from Voluptas Virtualis is free for everyone. The matching “Hadi” top and bottom come in female sizes only, however the fuzzy socks come sized for male avatars as well as female. Both gifts are packaged together. Just click the vendor near the landing point and the gift will be sent to you. The “Hadi” set has a color/texture change hud with some fun tiger stripe options and solid colors. You can also hide/show the trim or color it separately. The socks have a color/texture change hud with lots of options. Also, if kitty feet aren’t your thing, fear not, there are solid color choices as well as stripes. I have no idea how long this gift will be available, so don’t wait!

It’s not always easy to find good free or almost free things for the men of Second Life. Sometimes, I skip entire events because I just know there’s nothing there for me. I very glad I didn’t skip this round of Cosmopolitan.
Hats off
Or hats on… this is the “Weatherman” from Bondi and it’s the free gift at Cosmopolitan. The hat is technically ‘unisex’ but don’t take this from me. The hat is completely resizable and repositionable so you can get the perfect fit. Just join the Cosmopolitanfree group and pick up your gifts.
On the Hunt
In my never ending hunt for men’s fashion, I scour the Hunts each month and this month has been productive. I stumbled on the ‘Red Shoe Diaries’ “Little Black Book Hunt and it has not one but two tracks just for the men. One track, the one I’m showing prizes from, has a 1L price tag for each gift and the second track is 25L per prize.
First up is the “Cole” shirt from The Sissy Bar. As with everything I’ve seen from this designer, Cole is well made and subtly textured. Well worth the 1L and the time hunting.

Next up on the RSD/LBB Hunt are the “Bridgeport Jeans” from Horr Menswear. I really am impressed with these jeans. Jeans are such a staple of our wardrobe, it can be easy to toss out subpar pairs and hope no one notices. Horr Menswear has done just the opposite: they’ve made a first rate pair of jeans. Every detail is perfect and the texture couldn’t be better. And it’s still just 1L and a little hunting.
