Big Hunt day today! Greetings, Fab Folks, I hope you’re ready to get your hunt on.

I jumped into the 1L World of Fantasies Hunt this morning and haven’t come up for air yet. This is a good sized hunt with fifty two designers scheduled to participate. First up is Blue Couture’s feather dress. I love the soft pink and white feathers on the super full skirt. But what’s really nifty about this dress is how flexible it is. You can wear it as just the sleek white mini or go full feather or four different mix and match layers in between.  I’m wearing {D.o.R.k.}‘s Zahra Christmas for Slink High feet with my feathers. The shoes come with a HUD with eight different textures  in fun holiday styles. And for a bit of sparkle, I’ve got Luminesse’s Oriele Flax Silver anklet. I’m wearing one but the prize includes two anklets.

This Hunt goes from sweet to spicy with Brii Underground Wear’s ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ costume. The prize includes the hood, gloves, the corset and skirt, the stockings and the boots AND the make-up. It even comes with the basket full of big bad wolf.

We’re staying daring and maybe a little punkish with the next prize. This is a ‘new to me’ designer but I like what I’ve seen. This is Absinth, Art & Angels II and their ‘sexy plaid’ ladies prize.  I was tickled to get the red plaid set because it goes perfectly with my new Group Gift from A&Y Bunker Cybershop. This is Rem in black and cherry. The A&Y group is free to join ( really, I made sure! Sorry about yesterday’s mix up ) and there is a second version of Rem in black and ultrablue up as well.

Last but certainly not least is Through the Looking Glass’s Floral Halter dress in swirling shades of purple and blue. I can see this becoming one of my new ‘go to’ outfits since purple is my favorite color. If the dress wasn’t enough, the designer has included HUDs for the same swirly nail colors with a silver butterfly for Slink nails and toenails. Love it!

Hello FabFree Folks!

I’ve been on the hunt again! This time I delved into the darker world of fairy tales with the Brothers Grimm Hunt.  This is a 2L per prize hunt and it has some very nifty things.  First up is the mesh Peasant dress from ..elation..  This was a new to me store and I very much enjoyed checking it out. The dress is very well made and moves nicely. I bet it would be perfect for a fantasy RP.  It was the perfect costume to find Potpourri Designs “Poisoned Apple on a Stone Pillar.” The pillar is a great prop for a picture or an RP but it is more than just a prop. It comes in several versions with and without the apple.  Completing the scene is the “Aponi” hair style from EMO-tions. This is one of the several in-store Gachas at the mainstore. I’m wearing the “naturals 3”, a pretty taffy blonde.

One nice thing about this particular Hunt is there are a varity of styles for the prizes. I found the fantasy/medieval dress then found this funky tank top/short dress. This is B-UniQ’s “The Raven”.  Again, so nicely made!  I’m not daring enough to wear it alone so I paired it with these dollarbie black leggings from [Eve n Better] found on the Marketplace.  Topping off my look is the Argrace Welcome gift hair “Minato” which Tiana Omizu and Love Trill  showed us here.

Golden Opportunity

Hello Fabulous Readers! Welcome to my first blog post!  First off, a huge thank you to the Fab Free blog team for giving me this opportunity. I hope I can carry the torch as well as you ladies. I have some big Blog shoes to fill. How’s that for a mixed metaphor?

One of my favorite things to do in Second Life is hunt. There is nothing like looking high and low, tearing your hair out a little then finally spying the Hunt object. And it only gets better when the prizes are as nice as some of the ones from the Golden Thanksgiving Hunt. This is a 1L per prize hunt and it’s a Linden well spent!

This first item from GTH is just stunning: Darkmatter’s teal and black evening gown. The prize includes both the ladies gown and a matching men’s tuxedo. I can’t get over how beautifully this gown is made. Every little detail is so precise. If you zoom in you can even see filigree on the skirt.

Even the back of the gown is simply beautiful.

I paired the gown with Lunamoon Creation Shop’s gold and pearl jewelry set.  You get the entire set: necklace, earrings and both left and right bangles.

Lastly, I’m wearing Firelight Creation’s Slink nails set. The set is both manicure and pedicure and contains nine sparkly golden themed colors plus a basic French manicure nail.

Also on the Golden Thanksgiving hunt is this flirty ruffle dress from Mishmash Fusion.  Short and a little daring, I think it’d be perfect for a jazz club.  The stiletto heels come with the dress and are for Slink High feet. Mishmash also has a great matching men’s outfit in the prize as well.
