Belle Epoque Hunt
The Belle Epoque 7th Anniversary Hunt runs until the 30th of November; you still have time to hunt. The best part of this hunt is that everything is free, There are cupcakes scattered around the store. Find one and you’ve got a new gift! Read more about the hunt in Aline’s post. I picked up most of the hunt gifts but today I’m showing you the Angie dress. This lovely frock shows some skin but you’re still covered. It comes in this lovely shade of purple. A great outfit for a night out. Angie is sized for Ebody, Legacy, Maitreya, Juicy & Perky.
While hunting I also picked these cute earrings by Arkivet – the Strawberry Snail earrings. Aren’t they adorable? I’ll have to wear them to the next snail race! You can also see the Hiral eyeshadow and Daffodil lashes I’m wearing. I do feel festive.

Hello you Fabulous readers! I’ve returned from a short bout of sleeping sickness. Not the kind caused by the tsetse fly; just the kind that hits you like a truckload of bricks making you want to sleep the day away. I’m better now. : -)
Lets talk about good vs bad. Over time there have been many different ideas about one or the other. But who decides? Good is associated with qualities like selflessness, kindness, benevolence, morality, and compassion while bad or evil denotes actions such as selfishness, cruelty, wickedness, immorality, etc. I couldn’t decide which way I wanted to go to show off two gifts from V8 Underground that can let you be either or both. I think one can have a little of both.
The “Good”
In the picture on the right I’m wearing the V8 Underground Alysia Nerri White BDSM outfit. It’s the free gift for Fabulously Free in SL group that as most of you know is free to join. If you love to turn heads then you need this outfit. Since it’s white it can be seen as “good” but it sure is wicked looking. Sometimes it’s good to be a little bad. One of the things I’ve always loved about V8 Underground is that you purchase an outfit is that everything is usually included. Think shoes or boots, clothing, jewelry, and even make up at times. The outfit pictured on the right is the Kyara Bad Girl Style also from V8 Underground. It is a free gift for the Third Life group that has a join fee of only $10L. And oh my! Don’t I look “bad” in the outfit? I think I’m channeling Dirty Harry Callahan. Donning my mirrored aviator glasses and huge automatic weapon I dare anyone to cross me!
Did you know that mirrored sunglasses can be used as a rear view mirror if you remove them on the pretext of cleaning them? The best advantage is that no one can see your eyes or where you’re looking. In this package you’ll find boots, bodysuit, hat, sunglasses, gloves, makeup layer, and even a cigar! I wasn’t in a smoking mood so the cigar is not shown. Oh yeah! I forgot about the leg holster with the huge automatic weapon – “Go ahead, make my day!”

A Sunday brunch with friends is always a pleasure. We went to Brennan’s Restaurant on Royal Street in the Vieux Carré. Mmm, love those mimosas and Bananas Foster, a delicious conconction of bananas, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, rum, banana liqueur and vanilla ice cream flamed at your table. After all that yumminess I had to hail a cab so I could get home and fall into a food coma.
Stuffed
Dining at a world famous restaurant is an occasion to dress to the nines! Luckily I was able to nab this sophisticated ensemble, Olivia, from Brillancia for a total of $60L (the top & skirt are separates priced at $30L each). I’m wearing the chocolate color but there are a number of colors to choose from at the store. It fits my Maitreya body like a glove!

I’m also grateful for a little down time during this unusually hectic week. The leg tattoos Pru’s showing, and the strappy crop top are both group gifts currently available.

Speakeasy has this beautiful leg tattoo as their January group gift. The tattoo comes in 3 shades (faded, worn, fresh), in a couple of appliers. I love getting new tattoos in SL almost as much as I do in RL. Not to mention Second Life tattoos are painless and easily changed, and easily removed!
