Sci-Fi and Sunglasses

I’m feeling a little sci-fi and fantasy all at the same time today… and the elements of the gifts I picked out could be used for different genres of everyday wear or roleplay gear depending upon how you paired them with outfits or other details (I think that’s why I love these gifts so much).

The Heart Shaped Sunglasses Hunt started today and I think there are some really fabulous gifts to be had. I’m showing off two of them in this post alone, and hope to show off a few more that I have my eye on.

Thigh High

These Thigh High boots by Have Unequal immediately caught my attention and won my approval and I was thrilled when I tried them on. They say “wool” but to me they look leather with a “wool” sock sort of sticking out the top. They will only cost you 5L and a little hunting time at the Have Unequal main-store and when you unpack the box you’ll find boots to fit Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique mesh bodies. These boots would be slick for some Sci-fi roleplay or other types of RP… or just for wearing and not roleplaying 😉

Speaking of Hearts

Since I was on the heart trail, I also picked up the 5L prize from Kotte, which happens to be this great pair of heart shaped sunglasses in “sea”. They come with a hud that allows you to change the metal detailing on the glasses to either silver or gold. If you click on the flickr picture and zoom in, you can see that their is a little Gothic cross on the sides of the glasses.

A touch of fantasy

While I was at Kotte I accidentally scrolled my mouse and cammed inside another store and found my camera locked onto a group gift at a new-to-me store called {Ghoul}. Immediately I knew I had to have the Dragonglass Back Gems! They emit a soft purple light and would be great for fantasy, medieval, or sci-fi roleplay… or just for fun. The group is 50L to join, and there was another group gift beside the back gems, a photo body glow. The gems come in sizes to fit several mesh bodies, including a male mesh body!
