So long ago, Certain place, Certain time…

Hey Fab Fam, I know it’s another Monday but I hope it’s a good one for you. My Monday hasn’t been bad at all because I popped over to the 10th Anniversary round of Cosmopolitan. And what made it so good, you may ask.  All the free anniversary gifts set out for us! Most every Designer has set out a lovely little free gift to celebrate. In fact, I was able to put together this entire outfit, from head to toe with nothing but free gifts!

First is this lovely dress. This is ‘Candra – gris’ from Avale and just look at the way it drapes and flows! The color is a deep navy (maybe) but comes across more as a dusty black. But “gris” does mean “gray” so… There is a HUD to change up the color but it only changes the top not the skirt. Just my personal preference but I liked the matching pieces best.

Even my new hair style is a free gift! This is the ‘Coral’ style from eXxEsS. You get the full fat pack of colors here too. I love the swoopy bangs and the little buns. Such a playful yet sophisticated style.

Back to Très Chic

The anniversary round of Très Chic rages on, and I’m happy to be showing off some more free goodies you can get by joining their free group.  It’s always hard to choose what to show you from some events, but I found this round of Très Chic to be especially difficult.  There are so many pretty things!  Today I picked up the free hair from Sintiklia, that comes with loads of different styling and colour options.  It looks effortlessly chic and put together.  I also picked up this dress from Avale that comes in a striking red hue, and can be worn with or without the bra section, so you could put your own favourite lingerie in its place if you desire.  Pretty!

Hi! I went a little overboard on the group gifts in this post. I was browsing through my inventory and one thing led to another and they all ended up on at the same time. I’m enjoying the vibe though, it’s very 90s punk rock and had me singing Nirvana to myself.

This dress would be great dressed up but clearly it’s also very versatile because I did this kinda punk thing with it and I think it works beautifully for that too. The Meadow Makes it All Better

Hello Fabulouses!  It’s almost Friday….phew!  After spilling my drink on my keyboard (not recommended by the way!), and a trip out in the heat to buy a replacement, Ripley and I really needed a walk across a cool, green meadow.  Lucky for us, we found the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll on the Lemon Beach sim.  I felt the stress of the day fade away with each step on the springy grass.  Now, this is the way to end the day!

While browsing the Marketplace, I came across a sweet deal to share with you today.  My form fitting, fitted mesh mini dress can be yours for just one linden dollar at the Avale shop on the Marketplace.  With a plunging neckline, narrow shoulder straps, and a realistic texture, this dress is sure to be a summer favorite of mine.  In addition to the milky white version I chose to wear today, a texture change HUD allows you to select red or black as well.  I really like the way my shoulders are free to soak in some summer sunshine with my new frock.
