Learning to Fly

Learning to drive is a stressful time for teens and their family. I can imagine that learning to fly is no better, but I guess I’ll never know! For today’s post I imagined that I was attempting to learn to fly a broom, as a newly discovered witch, but I was having a difficult time of it and my friend was making fun of me…you can see my reaction to that in the next photo below.

• This month Evil Bunny Productions is hosting their monthly themed hunt and it is called “Boo! Bunny Hunt 12” for October. Catherine Cloud of Princess Stuff has some fun gifts in the event. It includes the very broom I’m trying to learn to fly on as well as the cat ears and tail. The hunt object is only L$1 to get these goodies!

Yes, it’s chilly out.  The wind doth rattle the windows, but I’m in need of heating things up a bit! It’s always hot somewhere in SL, and I think that it will be hot wherever YOU are in this amazing bikini!

This super hot bikini is a free find on the SL Frees and Offers hunt that’s taking place right now.  You’ve probably seen all the goodies we’ve been picking up on the hunt, and it is definitely worth checking out!  My bikini is from Vision, and is completely free, just look for the maple leaf hiding in the store! The belly chain is also included which is a cool addition. Isn’t it nice?  I think so!

Face Off

I often get comments on my facial expressions in my photos, or even when I’m hanging about SL.  If you’ve got a Lelutka head like I do, and are looking to pad out your HUD with more facial expressions, you can swing by the main store and head over to the animation section.  There on the table, you’ll find two gifts – one that contains some photo facial expressions (that I’m showing you in my pic below) and two different “moods” that are a series of expressions that will play naturally on your face (one is called Monroe and is quite flirty!).  Head on over to Lelutka to pick them up – no need to join the group, they’re completely free!

Adam n Eve: Picks Reward Gift No 3 and a Lucky Chair!

Adam n Eve`s picks reward gift has changed! This time we are pleased with a cosy, grey “Horizon” sweater. Quite my style! 🙂 Ooh, and you get both versions, male and female. All you have to do to get this gift is having Adam n Eves`s store in your profile picks, and click the picks reward sign.

And for all of you who loves “nature related furniture” and plants and flowers and all that jazz … there´s a Lucky Chair on Artis Nature (nature sim by sachi Vixen and Damen Gorilla, you have to see it, great!). A few steps away from your landingpoint is a teleport sign. Choose “tree shop”. Once there you can see (at some distance) a group of toadstools. And a toadstool is your prize if you are a lucky one. The prize will change from time to time, so check back often.

Oins, zwoa, gsuffa! Freebie fürs OKTOBERFEST in SL

Can´t spell the title and my adressing? Well, that´s german, or rather “bavarian german”:-))) It sounds strange for most of you but it means just “one, two, drink!” Don´t worry, no need to learn this language, all you have to do is grab a freebie 🙂 One of the best freebies I´ve ever found. One of the most funniest freebies I´ve ever seen.*LOL* No, I`m not from Germany … I am from Austria. There´s a difference! But I like our friendly “neighbours” very much, we have the german language in common, also the bavarian and the austrian “slang” are very similar :-))

Well, first of all it´s a limited time freebie ! Nobody (unless the designer) knows when it lasts, that´s for sure :-)) Sooo … try to catch the D&M Oktoberfest Set while you can!

AND – now I´m breaking the rules *coughs* – I found it on SL Exchange. Usually, we don´t blog freebies listed on this site, or similar sites like Onrez, for some reasons. If I have to be punished for posting this freebie .. well, I don´t care .. I HAD to share it 🙂  However … before I started to write this post, I talked to Michaela Kuhn,   owner of D&M Collection, and she is the brilliant and generous designer of D&M Oktoberfest Set. She told me how to use the freebie as well as  another way to get the D&M Oktoberfest Set inworld. Any person wearing the backpack can give it away. Just click on the backpack, and a black box will drop into your inventory. Unpack it, and you will get leather pants, bavarian shirt, socks, shoes, Alp hat, mountain backpack, Oktoberfest flag, beer (a huuuuge pot!) and a hover banner. Not enough … this outfit is animated. Just type 1 into the chat line and you start …….. to yodel and dance like crazy *grins* Type 2 into the chat line and you will get a different yodel/dance/walkaround animation, could be you walk around a bit drunken :)) EDIT: IF YOU WANT TO STOP DANCING JUST TYPE IN 0 INTO THE CHAT LINE! OMG, SO SORRY …. SOME OF YOU MIGHT BE STILL DANCING AROUND 🙂

I laughed myself to tears while taking the pics!  And my dogs were totally perplexed! Only Othello, the cat, wasn´t much impressed *giggles* Once again: big, big thank to Michaela Kuhn!

SWAY`S CREATIONS OPENING

Perhaps you know my own blog … and if so, perhaps you read my little story “WE ARE FAMILY”.  If not … it doesn´t matter :-)) But it was my best friend, Sandmaennchen Polanski, who lets me know about Sway`s Creations Opening, and I want to thank him 🙂 Hmm … btw, if you like plants, trees and flowers you might have a look to Sand`s Plants. POST WITHOUT TITLE

Hm, a post without title doesnt mean it is a post without freebies *LOL* My apologizes, but I couldn´t think of a better title!

At first let me show IVALDE´s lovely skin group gift (step into Ivalde`s store, wear your group tag, the skin is next the sewing machine). Shown here is my favorite Violante skin in golden bisque (comes also in light bisque, mocha and rose beige!).

Stupid me forgot to show you the cute camp item in BURT LAUNDRY´s store!! I was so concentrated to find the free Polaroid HUD …. *sighs* So I went back, took a seat and … voila! … after sitting for 15 minutes I was prowd owner of pants 01 by Burt Laundry 🙂 I´m so glad that I´m always young and beautiful in SL because I couldn´t wear these pretty girlie shorts in RL …. oh dear me, never *giggles*

Next we have a group gift (subscribe-o-matic) from SWEETER THAN CANDY. I´m sure you already know this shop and Candace Morgwain, the generous and talented designer! Go to the store (there´s a gift box with free “strapped heels lavender” too) and touch the subscribe-o-matic, go to History, it´s the first message. Again it´s a very generous gift, and of course a wonderful gift: Double Layered Tee and Jeans, Aqua Blue Polo and Dark Wood Wedges in forest 🙂 Now I´m happy … I still can wear jeans and tees and sandals iRL AND I still look Sweeter Than Candy wearing such outfits :-))) I don´t care about my hubby`s moaning “come on, cutie! you are goodlooking for an old lady but …. honestly, looking sweeter than candy!???” Pheew, he has no idea! 😉

At Last Stand Animations there´s a nice free pose. Take your time to try the new released skirt poses as well as all other available poses. They aren´t free but great!

Last but not least there´s a hunt (tiny black/white boxes) at AnnaH`s new store. My finds shown here are “I Feel Sexy Pose”, Sarah Mini Shorts black and Dulce Shirt green. There are more goodies hidden. Don´t forget to check out the backyard, it´s a bit messy but worth a closer look, and don´t oversee the cheapies pictured on the wall 🙂
