Free As A Dove

Hey FabFree! I am hanging out at Sunflower Park, and remembering Free Dove once again. I didn’t blog Free Dove gifts very much in the past, so I have been trying my best to show my support for this fantastic freebie community before it’s too late. Doves symbolize peace and freedom, so may she fly free as a dove and rest in peace. 🕊️

A New Friend

First off, the animesh Dove companion animal is a free gift from House of Fun. You can get it on the Marketplace or at their in-world store for free. This is a lovely momento to Free Dove‘s creator and their legacy.

Free Dove Goodies

I have more goodies from Free Dove to show you all in my look today. You need to join the free Free Dove group to get them. Everything at the Free Dove is available for a limited time, as the freebie outlet will poof soon.

• This is a Free Dove tumbler mug from Star Sugar. It’s a bit hard to see, but it’s decorated with a beautiful design of doves and it says “Free Dove” on it.
• My necklace is a small beautiful gold piece from Star Sugar that says “Love Doves” on the pendant- it’s shiny and elegant!
• My pretty blue shorts are a gift from Paper.Sparrow. They fit Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and Venus. The shorts also include a colour change hud to change the colours of the ties only.
• The see-through BOM top and undies are a free gift from Alaskametro. These BOM pieces can be worn separately as an outfit (as a bikini swimsuit), but I choose to wear them underneath some mesh clothing to create a unique look.

• The pretty hairstyle is a free gift from Alli&Ali Designs. It includes a colour hud of variety colours and a style hud.
• The rather revealing top is a gift from [WellMade]. It includes a HUD with 3 colours- black, brown and white. It’s a perfect top for summer outfits. It fits Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique and Hourglass.

Twin Cats

Hey FabFree! I have a new feline friend and we decided to go out on a spooky walk together.

To start off, I am showing a few more free gifts from the Halloween Shop & Hop, including:

• Free eyeshadow from Pout!, which comes in BOM layers for Lelutka EvoX heads. Several colour options are included and they are stunning, as is to be expected from Pout!
• A free HD lipstick applier from Purple for Lelutka EvoX heads. Several colour options are included.
• Free mesh spiders that sit so perfectly on your legs from Seance. These are just fantastic! Be careful if you are scared of spiders, as these creep right up on your legs. You do need to join the free Seance group to get this gift, but the gift is in their Halloween Shop & Hop booth.

• My striking eyes are the latest group gift from lovelysweet. They come in a darks and lights pack, and they fit all Lelutka Heads, Omega, and BOM.
• My hairstyle is only 1L from FAGA on the Marketplace. I made the dreaded mistake of leaving the FAGA group when I should have stayed in it, so I was happy that I could pick up this beautiful hairstyle gift for only 1 linden on the MP. I love when that happens. The Mini hairstyle includes an exclusive colour hud of several different colour options.

• Lastly, my new cat is the latest free group gift at SEmotion & Libellune. This is an animesh companion, and there are only 8 more days left to get it. It’s so cute!

Spiffed Up

Hey FabFree! It’s time to spiff up my home and my look. Let’s dig into the sales, hunt prizes and freebies I used to clean up my house and my fashion style.

Home Items

Splintered Creations is a new-to-me store, and they are on the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt! Their hunt prize costs 5L for a three-piece set. The set includes the following 3 items:

• The white and brown wood table with decorations on it (milk jug and house)
• The multi-level tray with teacups and plants on it with a green “Lucky” sign
• The wooden wall piece with white flowers on it that goes right behind the table

I also placed another prize from the hunt on the table, which is the pretty green candle that is held upright by a candlestick made out of black chains. The candle costs 5L at StoraxTree.

Mr. Tuxedo

While I was at StoraxTree, I picked up their adorable FabFree group gift. That’s this cute green and brown blossom rug with a sleeping cat on it. The cat comes in a few different textures, but I loved this one because it reminds me of my RL tuxedo cat. He’s cute so I love him! Just join the free FabFree group to get this gift.

Some Hip Shades

Before and After

Cheerio gang!

This post is not your typical before and after.  Oh gosh I *do* love me a before and after, you know when they do makeovers?  It is one of my fondest wishes to one day get a makeover by professionals.  Alas.  But I love a makeover, it’s always so exciting to see what changes they make and how awesome whomever or whatever they were working on came out!

This is kind of a reverse before and after to showcase the awesome goodies I got at the Arcade Event, courtesy of Pare’.  Now, if you want to get all the juicy details of how the new system at the arcade works, I spelled it all out in my previous post here.  With that out of the way, let’s get on to the fun stuff, the goodies!  The machine for Pare’ is called Night Crawlers and is 75L a play and I had to come back on subsequent days to get both the outfits I was lucky enough to grab.  The above was the pink, which I love.  The below photo shows the Halloween version which I was lucky enough to get on my second day try.  I was originally going to just blog the pink one, but when I got the Halloween one as well, I couldn’t resist combining the two.

So, what exactly do I call my before and after?  The first photo, above, is before the Zombie Apocalypse, the second photo before is, well, after, obviously, and our brave heroine can tell she has become outnumbered and she is about to become Zombie herself.  Notice how she is biting her lip in distress?  So she has gone from geek chic to zombie hunter.

As I stated in my previous post, you choose the size you want to play for in the machine and I chose Maitreya Lara as that is what I wear.

Lessons learned by our lovely heroine… a gun works better than an axe when fighting zombies.  Unfortunately.

Laundry Day!

Here I am gang, back again in stark contrast to my previous (solo – not the one where I am fending off a pack of wild redheads) post, I’m back to my old self again and catching up on some chores.  Plants watered, check.  Blog posts done, check.  Rent paid, check.  Laundry…. in progress!

Doing the laundry is much more fun when you can bring along some adorable cuteness with you to snuggle and smooch while you wait!  My favorite part about laundry is when the dryer stuff comes out nice and toasty… ahhhhhh.  Even if it is hot out for some reason, the heat in fresh laundry is so soothing.  I wonder why that is.  Do you know?

Of course with all my laundry needing to get done, I had to find a new outfit to wear while I washed the rest and so I headed over to the Free Dove, cause I haven’t been in a while, to see what newness they might have.  I wasn’t disappointed of course because I found this to die for outfit (I may live in this and be buried in it!).  I absolutely love the bohemian pattern on the top with the Indian elephants.  Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I know I show you all sorts of styles in my posts my friends, but bohemian (and my whimsical side LURVES Kawaii) is where my soul does a happy dance.  I don’t find nearly as much bohemian as I would like nowadays, it feels like the entire grid is obsessed with jumpsuits lately.  So when I do find it, get out of the way cause Imma gonna do a big ol happy dance!!!

Bonus points if I can find Bohemian and Pink combined!  That’s absolutely ME to a T!

So, just sitting here with my buddy Hachi musing about this adorbs summer dress that I found for only 5L on market.  Yup, it’s true!  Aria has a bunch of items on Market for only 5L, but its just today and tomorrow (the 13th and 14th) so ya gotta hurry on this one!  Everything was so cute I didn’t know what to pick to blog for y’all, but this dress felt so beachy and Hawaiian, I chose it.  This fits only Maitreya but their items fit all kinds of bodies, you just have to check the listings.

Hachi is from Fashiowl and he came with a set of really cute poses for only 60L for the Happy Weekend Sale, I just checked and they still have it up, so if you want him, go grab him NOW.  You will be glad you did, I had sooo much fun posing with him!  By the way, he fits all sizes of bodies!!  😀

Pugs & Kisses

The weekend is the perfect time to dress up and spend some time hanging out with a four legged date!  Heck, they don’t care if you dress up or not.  But it’s fun to dress up so I do.    This cute little guy comes to me courtesy of Dench Designs who are (is??) having a flash sale on them!  You get a plethora of pugs, for NOT a plethora of lindens!  This flash sale goes til Tuesday (great band back in the day!  lol), and you can get the puggies for only 32L!  If you can’t make it there by Tuesday (thats *not* a band…. that I know of.), then you can get the puggies for 60L.  Which is still a faboo price!  You just rez the pug bed and click it and choose what you would like the pug to be doing.  I made him sit so he could be pretty for my picture.  This is the ad which shows your pug activity choices:
