Breathe In, Breathe Out

Oh my goodness, FabFree. I’ve been to The Fifty, and it was glorious. So many free gifts from so many amazing designers. It was all I could do to plop myself down on the edge of my skybox and show you my spoils.

Nifty

The Fifty event is celebrating it’s 1st anniversary! It feels like it’s been around longer. And in true SL style, that means free gifts for us! Lots of them! At every booth. There are a handful set to the wrong group, but hopefully that will be sorted out quickly. You just need to join the Fifty Linden Friday group for free and click on all of the purple envelopes outside of the booths. I got a bit carried away with the things that I’m showing here. There are so many great things, I wouldn’t be surprised if you see another post or two here about The Fifty. For now, here is my haul:

• Free pose by Lyrium, in a set of three cute poses with lots of shoe and mirror options
• NaaNaa’s is giving out a Free 250L credit, which I convieniently turned around and used to purchase this great choker that they have out at the event for 250L, perfect
• Free hair by Doe, with a HUD of bright fun colors, I couldn’t resist the urge to match my nails
• Free mermaid glam nails by ALT3, in long, medium, and short versions for GenX, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn
• Free cow print shorts by cheezu in sizes for Maitreya, Juicy Rolls, Reborn, and Legacy
• Free skull crop top by (NO) in sizes for Belleza, Ebody, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink

Phew yeah I definitely went a bit overboard but something about the bright accessories and gothy outfit just makes me very happy, and all in fantastic quality freebies! Can’t beat that. The Fifty just opened, like four hours ago, so you might need to wait a bit for the crowds to dissipate a little. Don’t wait too long though, you’ve got until March 20th before it all goes away! This one is not to be missed.

Someplace Warm and Bright

This post is dedicated to that moment in the sun. You know the one, when you just stop what you’re doing and pause to enjoy the warmth and glow of the sun on your face. A simple pleasure before you continue on with your day. Yes, that’s the one.

Outfitted

Of course, that moment is even better if you’re someplace tropical. I prepped for my tropical excursion with a trip to Hot Stuff. Do you know this store? I didn’t. It’s got nice stuff though! There are also some free group gifts to grab, and right now group members can even get a free 900L store credit. You will need to join the group, which is temporarily free to join. Walk into the next room after the group gifts and there’s a big ol’ sign with two free store credits for 450L each, one for pink vendors and one for yellow vendors. It’s really not that complicated but there are instructions right there if you need them.

The Goods

What’s that, you want to know what I used my free credit towards? Well I’m glad you asked. I got this bathing suit, of course! It’s the perfect combination of cute and sexy without letting it all hang out. It has a HUD to make different sections solid or patterned, and sizes for:

I also bought a BOM layer of tan lines which I looooooove. It’s nice and natural but you can see some tan lines peeking out from under my suit if you look closely. There are three shades included to work with different skin tones.

Happy weekend, Fab to the Free! We made it! I don’t know about you, but I’m going to celebrate with some weekend sale shopping. I’ve already picked up a couple of things and I’m about to head out and see what else is out there. Happy Monday! I’m bummed that the weekend is over but I’m psyched to share some freebies with you. I’ve got some exciting time sensitive news to share, so let’s get right to it!

That’s Not New!

You’re right, this isn’t the first time you’ve seen this hair on FabFree. Aline blogged it already here. So why am I showing it again? Because the FAGA group is temporarily free to join! I have very little detail on this, but what I lack in detail I make up for in enthusiasm! All I know is that there’s a sign out at FAGA that the group is currently free to join, but that the group join fee will be 350L in 72 hours. I don’t know when this 72 hours started. I don’t know how long it has been. I don’t know when it will end. I don’t know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. All I know is that right NOW the FAGA group is FREE and it’s absolutely worth dropping everything and running over there right now to join.
