The Hunt

I’m totally in the mood to hunt for things today, whether it be eggs, chocolate or even my mind…I’m ready for a bit of a search.  Luckily for me, and for anyone else who is ready to seek high and low for all sorts of wonderous things, I’ve got the news you’ve been waiting for!

Fortune 500

Muchly exciting for lovers of the hunt is the fun Easter egg hunt going on at Tachinni right now!  If you join their group for just 15L, you can take part in a hunt for store credit. There is 500L in credit dispersed around the store in 12 little pastel eggs.  The more eggs you find, the more credit you’ll accumulate.  With the 500L I picked up, I bought the Miriam top and skirt, which as with all Tachinni clothing is extremely well made and rather sexy!  You’ve got until April 11th to find the eggs, and until the 16th to use the credit.

Eggstravaganza!

Afterparty are taking part in the Eggstravaganza hunt!  It’s not a traditional hunt per se, more of a hunt mixed with a try your luck type of thing.  You search for the golden egg, then once you’ve located it, say “Eggstravaganza!” in local chat (don’t forget the exclamation mark, and leave out the quotation marks!).  Then if your magic is strong, you’ll be able to get the prize delivered for free.  If not, you can try again the next day, or just buy it for 50L if you can’t live without.  I got these awesome neon bunny ears and they won’t be coming off till all the eggs have been found! You’ve got until April 11th.

Moody in Neon

Monday has got me feeling a bit all over the place today.  One minute I’m happy, the next I’m…not as happy!  Anyway, I’m channeling all my emotions into my lewk today, and I’ve got some eggies to keep me company.  Because, misery (and euphoria, and complacency…) loves company (and eggs)!

Parfait

In my meanderings, I came across some lucky boards at Parfait.  They’ve got a very Kawaii vibe going on, and they have me feeling comfy to escape my malaise.  It’s always nice to look comfy and cute all at the same time, a feat that often escapes us mere mortals.  The dress and layered top are free for all when your letters come up, and so are the cute socks!   No need to join a group, just have a bit of patience.  Thanks Parfait!

Afterparty

You guys know I love me some Afterparty.  The neon revolution is in full swing when you visit their store, and they always aim to bring a bit of life and light to everyone.  There’s a fun Easter egg hunt going on at the shop right now, and it’s kind of a mix of Easter, Halloween and Goth set in an atmospheric graveyard.  Take a walk through said graveyard (outside the store) and look for the 6 different eggs – each one has 8 different coloured eggs inside.   To take part, just join the Afterparty group for 10L, and then hunt away.  (There are lots of great group gifts there for you to pick up too, while you’re at it!  You’ve got until April 11th to take part.

Lucky Me

I am feeling so lucky today, FabFree.  Lucky because I have been given the awesome gift of this lovely blog to care for.  Yes, it sounds corny and flowery and trite, but I honestly mean it!  When Bunnie poked me with the idea of trying out some hunts, I thought “Hey, why not?”.  I’ve been pretty blown away with all the response we’ve gotten, from kind designers who have thanked us, to hunters who thank us for organizing.  I love it when a plan comes together!

Not only did Bunnie Francis mastermind the whole FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt (invitations! posters! HUD! and a billion more things!), she also put together some pretty lovely prizes for our hunters at her store, Paper.Sparrow.  I picked up the Gnomes sweater and the knickers to go with.  I feel festive and cozy all at once.  This prize costs only 5L.  Don’t you love the little gnomes?  Peek at the key below to get a better look!

Gaze

Another super lovely human that I’ve gotten to know through FabFree is Gaze Satin of Afterparty.  He is SO kind and generous, and we have had some really great conversations while working on our stuff.  On the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt, he’s got these super cute earrings (zomg neon gradient gorgeousness!) for just 5L and loads of really pretty clover-shaped lamps (5L as well) that I’ve strewn all over the place for a shot of pretty, good luck. Excitingly, the green pack (item 3) is entirely free!  Woot!
