Horror Queen

Hey FabFree! I have a few quick Halloween goodies to show you today. I’m sorry to say that I am going through a tough time in RL at the moment, so I’ll try to be quick and show you the goods so you can get these great finds while they are still available. Hocus Pocus!

I have a 3 free gifts from Hocus Pocus to share. Aline blogged all about Hocus Pocus here. I love this event and the gifts are Fab this year! I won all of these for free by typing “hocus pocus” in local chat. Alternatively, you can pay 50L per prize if you don’t win befor the event is over.

The other freebie shown on me today is lipstick from Bella Elephante. The lipstick is an HD applier that comes in several colours, and it works with Lelutka EvoX heads only.
rainnn has these great boots out as their prize. They come in a webbed black version and a violet bat version and they fit Legacy and Maitreya.

A Flower for Bees

Today was a lovely day for a walk in the woods among wildflowers and bees. I was feeling bright and cheerful for this photoshoot. I am super excited to be joining the FabFree team! I must say a huge thank you for the opportunity! Since its very early days I’ve been an avid (although mostly silent) follower of FabFree and now I get to join in on the fun as a blogger!

Now let’s talk about what I’m wearing from the hunt…

My vivid pink outfit is from Vulnus by owner Vᴜʟɴᴜs (vulnuscouture). The blouse and pants are two separate pieces that come together in the hunt object for free. They are made to fit Freya, Hg, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya and Slink bodies. Vulnus is one of the sponsors for the Womenstuff Hunt.
The free jewelry set is from ZanSarai of Luminesse. You can click the necklace or earrings to bring up a menu that allows you to change options such as brightness, size, shininess and glow. Since it comes unrigged, the resize option is super nice.
C’est la vie, owned by Larcoco Ragu (larcoco.mathy), has this lovely free headband as their hunt prize. It is unrigged with a resize script and comes with an HUD that allows you to choose between 12 plain and 12 patterned textures.
And the adorable little pink hearts on my cheeks are the free prize from Silent Alchemi of -Birth-. They are unrigged as well and come with a tintable version if you would like to have them in a different color. -Birth- is also a sponsor for the Womenstuff Hunt.

Wicked

Hello Faboulouses! I don’t know if any of you readers are familiar with the book and musical Wicked, but this post was based on it. The novel’s protagonist, called Elphaba, is based on the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz. Now I look just like her- witchy green skin and all- except I’m in steampunk attire too! I’ll be showing off this green skin 75 L promo, some more freebies from the steam hunt and a free hair in this post. Buckle up; this is a long one!

More Steam Hunting

I finished the Steam Hunt IV, and this is an outfit I came up with using the goodies from the hunt! I am featuring the free hunt prizes from Razmataz, Prism Designs, Dragon Lady’s Closet, Adele Arts, Pixel Box, Destiny’s Designs, and Sweet Revolutions. The STEAM XV’s grid-wide hunt is free and going on until March 31st- so get out there hunting to get these cool finds!

First off- my outfit is the prize from Destiny’s Designs. The top is a system top I have applied using bakes on mesh (BOM), and the skirt comes in fitmesh and mesh standard sizes (S-XL) which will fit a variety of mesh avatars with some help from your alpha hud. The lantern I am holding is one of five prizes from Pixel Box on the hunt. I also used one of the “Steampunk poses” from Razmataz in this shot.

The gate in behind me is the prize from Sweet Revolutions– it can be rezzed anywhere and be used for landscaping or sim-building- how cool is that!

This dashing hat, which includes a top hat for men as well, is the prize from Dragon Lady’s Closet and you can find these chic boots from the prize box from Prism Designs. Underneath my skirt, I am wearing some lovely omega applier tights which are in the hunt gift from Adele Arts.

Estha & Osha

I stumbled across a promo at Ritual Skins right now, where you can get 2 skins for the low price of 75 Linden. I am currently wearing the BOM version of the skin, but it also comes with a number of head appliers, body appliers, ear appliers and omega if you haven’t switched over to BOM yet. The skin comes in 2 shades: Estha and Osha, and you can wear the skin with freckles, without freckles and with black or white brows. I am currently wearing Estha. The skin can be worn as part of a fantasy outfit and the duo even includes elf or faerie ears. The shade of both skins is green, and it’s really beautiful. It reminds me of the character Elphaba from the book and musical Wicked, which I love. This green skin duo will be 75L until Midnight SLT on Friday, March 27th. As far as I know, there will be a weekly promo at Ritual for this prize so keep an eye out- especially if you love fantasy skins.

Green Locks

It isn’t easy being green, especially when you don’t have much hair to match your own skin in your inventory. Something Steam(Punk)y!

I’d never miss a chance to try out a new character, cosplay, or fantasy! Though I admit, I’ve never done steampunk. So when I saw this amazing hat at the NSP Florals Cart at the Wash Sale (and only 10L — Woot!), I was all a twitter! It was a chance to put together a steam punk look with a great accessory from top quality designer and once I had the top hat on, I was thrilled!

I love the combination of rich fabrics, florals, and metal feathers! Then it was off to adventuring at a steampunk sim! (If you have time, check out New Babbage — I linked you below… very cool place!)

But don’t be mistaken! The NSP Floral Cart at the Wash Sale is not just steampunk! Oh no! Versatility is the name of the game! This creative creator is offering up several gorgeous vintage hats (with the hair included!) as well as beautiful floral accessories that could easily finish off a stunning modern gown or top off a Gothic vampire’s ebony tresses.
