Happy Friday Fab Free’rs! Did you know that Sn@tch has a new 7Seas Fishing outfit out? I got notice of this gorgeous set the other day and had to try my luck. The skirt alone was enough to grab my attention. However, I have to say I am very much impressed with the way the skirt and the sweater both look on. All the pieces to this very gypsy boho style look are lovey really, even though I chose to show just the skirt and sweater in my photo. First, if you have never been fishing with the 7Seas Fishing rod before I’ll give you a quick rundown.

How to go 7Seas Fishing

If this is your first time fishing, I suggest getting a “casual” fishing rod. You can purchase a casual rod at the 7Seas fishing kiosk near the Sn@tch entrance. There are other rod options, but I only use a casual rod. The casual rod will cost you a one time purchase price of 100 linden. Once you have your rod you can use it forever to fish at any participating 7Seas Fishing area. Now you’re ready to go fish for this outfit!

Moonchild

This “Fish for This” outfit from Sn@tch has several pieces. You can score a complete head-to-toe look. You’ll end up reeling in individual pieces of the outfit one at a time. Items like the skirt and top which come in several sizes will be pulled in by color so all size options are included. When I said several pieces are up for grabs, I meant it. There are 24 pieces total including hair, jewelry, and shoes! There are also system layers for classic avatars. Delacruz Park

Hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs! I’m so excited about bringing you posts not only about free and fabulously inexpensive items, but places you can go to have fun without spending your linden as well. Delacruz Park is a recent discovery of mine that I believe is one of Second Life’s many lesser-know but amazing locations. It’s a small but fully functioning amusement and adventure park. Most if not all of the rides and attractions are for sale, but you can experience them for free in this beautifully landscaped setting. You can even see the neon blue roller coaster in the background of the above photo! Also, I love that Delacruz Park is all decked out for the fall season.

Delacruz Park is family friendly, however it would also be a fun spot for date night or an afternoon with friends. I already mentioned the roller coaster, this second photo was taken from high up in the working Ferris Wheel. If you look closely you can spot a few of the other attractions such as the Hot Air Balloon ride, the must-see mini Stone Hinge setup. I could continue to list the number of things to see and do at Delacruz park, however half the fun is discovering all this beautiful spot has to offer. Also, I’m sure I’d absentmindedly leave something out!

I Don’t Think You’re Ready for This JellyRoll

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! I’m back in the pool and loving it thanks to the Beached Bunny 8 Hunt. I picked up two of the BBH8 items to get pool-ready. The super cute swimsuit is from JellyRoll, and the fun doughnut float is from Harambee. I also picked up this cute summer hairstyle from Beusy. The Swimsuit – When I saw the little flamingos on the ad for this swimsuit by JellyRoll, I knew it was for me! If you’re not quite so excited about flamingos, the suit has a texture change hud with a blue and white tropical hibiscus print. This summer swimsuit is the 1 linden BBH8 hunt prize at JellyRoll. Also, there is an alpha layer included for classic avatars.

The Doughnut Float – I am honestly not really into eating sugary pink doughnuts with sprinkles, but when I see them in a non-edible form, I find them almost irresistibly cute.  This little gem of a pool float is another BBH8 dollarbie prize. You can hunt it down at Harambee. The float has several animated poses, one of which even has a cell phone prop. All the poses are adjustable, and the float gently turns while you relax. It also comes in 3 colors, the pink color shown, a blue version, and a lilac version.

Hint: Listen to your soul by playing the Talking Drums.

The Hair – I really like this double braid hairstyle from Beusy a lot. It’s a current free group gift and comes in a wide range of color options. There is also a stylist hud that lets you wear the hairstyle with or without the bangs, and with or without the little fly-away hairs over the ears. Hello hello Fab Free’rs! Sorry it’s been so long since my last post, that pesky Real Life is relentless at times. Needless to say I am happy to be back, I missed you guys!
