Time for a Little TCF

Hello Hello Fab Free! I hope everyone is doing well. So I decided to take some of Love’s advice from her recent post “Finally… FaMESHed” about entering an event and I am happy to report that I was able to get into the Anniversary round of The Chapter Four. Given the meager abilities of my little laptop, I knew it would be a task to manage the event. Still, the gifts were completely worth the time I spent camera-shopping for the little pink TCF Anniversary gift boxes. I’m just going to tell you now, there are tons of gifts. I’m not even sure I picked them all up, but I gave it a good try. To get the gifts at each vendor, you’ll need to be wearing your The Chapter Four group tag. Currently there is a paltry group join fee of 50 lindens. I know that’s not what everyone likes to hear, in my opinion however, it’s well worth it just for these TCF Anniversary gifts. That said, this will the first, of at least two, maybe three posts showing off my favorites of all the fantastic gifts. I want to make sure you get a good preview, so you won’t feel so bad about that group join fee. First, let’s talk about this pretty face.

It’s Gonna Be Maye

Freckles always win in my book. These freckles are courtesy of the May group gift at 7 Deadly Skins. The aptly named Maye skin comes in Omega appliers for the head and body, in the tones Sand and Apricot. If freckles aren’t your thing, there’s a non freckled version in both tones as well. You will need to join the 7 Deadly Skins group to get your May group gift. The group has a one time join fee of 225 lindens, and there are monthly gifts available for men and women.

Flowers For Your Hair

Starting from the top so to speak, this pretty floral hair wreath is the FREE TCF Anniversary gift from Cheveux. The flower crown comes in this single color, and can be resized via touch menu. Also in the package you’ll find a demo for the Cheveux hair pictured in the ad.

Ribbon For Your Neck

The cute little ribbon choker is another FREE TCF gift. This one is from .BF. and it comes with a color change hud with several solid colors for the ribbon only. There’s also a separate hud for adjusting the size. It gives you a great amount of control over the choker’s size so you can get an exact fit.

Polish For Your Nails

If you’ve been looking for a solid collection of pretty nail appliers all in one hud, it’s waiting for you at TCF. The FREE TCF Anniversary gift from Aleutia is a manicure set with 30 separate beautiful colors. That is not a typo, there are 30 colors to choose from. There are 3 separate huds included, one for Slink hands, one for Maitreya hands, and one for Belleza hands.

And finally, for now, this bright colorful crop top is the FREE TCF gift from GATO. I love the bright colors! Fortunately and unfortunately the top is a Maitreya applier only. No other appliers or classic  layers are included.

I put on my SL frees & offers tag and went out looking for deals today. Well Hello there. I know it’s been a while, so I’ll re-introduce myself, I’m Prudence Rexroth’s alt, Diamos. For the purpose of this post, you can call me Jack. Previously, the ladies have shown several of the Jack or Jill Hunt items. Now Pru wanted to show off some of the men’s items, and while she can wear just about anything, most of the items from the “Jack” path of the hunt look better on me. 😛

To start, there are many many awesome finds on the Jack path, these were just a few personal favorites. The skin Diamos has on, complete with 5-o’clock shadow is the FREE JOJH Gift from 7Deadly Skins.  There are not any appliers or hair-bases included, however I think it’s a rather nice looking skin, and a great place to start whether you’re new to Second Life or just looking for a change.

American Bazaar is also participating on the Jack path of this hunt. Their FREE hunt prize is this fully mesh trench. I have to admit, I felt a little bit like the character John Bender from The Breakfast Club while wearing this coat, which only made me like it more! The jacket comes in standard mesh sizes, and includes an alpha layer. The hand tattoos are another JOJH prize, also FREE, from Identity Body Shop. The tattoos come in fresh and faded versions, with  a glove layer and they include an applier for TMP, and Slink.

If you ever wanted a good “everyday” pair of jeans, and you didn’t want to pay for them, now is your chance! The JOJH FREE prize from Biscuit is just that, a really nice pair of mesh jeans. In addition to the standard sizes and alpha layer, these pants include 2 color change huds with a wide range of options to match just about anything. The last stop on this little review of the Jack Path of the JOJ Hunt is Duh!. These cool shoes come in 2 variations and include a resize script and an alpha for just the right fit. Did I mention they are FREE?

I’m sure you also noticed two different hairstyles in the photos. I have good news about those as well. Both hairstyles are gifts from Atro Patena. The Demoness

Hello there Fab Free’rs! I’m feelin’ a little saucy, and letting the horns, the wings, and the tail come out! I’ve spent a lot of my free time in role-play, in many forums over the years. The truth about where Pru comes from is that she was my first ever role play character years and years ago. She’s always been a little part of me. I partially continued that version of Pru in SL role play as well. She was a demoness then, and part of her always will be. Now she’s really just an extension of my own personality. So personally, I do love this look, it’s fun, it’s sassy, and a little bit naughty. For me it’s also a lot nostalgic.

While at the Thrift Shop, of course I had to play some gacha. Let me tell you, I’m not at all disappointed. First, these awesome red bat wings are a gacha prize from PMS. They are just $50 lindens per play at the Thrift Shop and come in several colors. They include a resize script. I also grabbed this super cute very cheeky necklace from Biscuit. This 3-tier necklace reads “Hussy” in a heart shaped charm. Ask me why, I’ll never have an answer, but I love it. It makes me laugh. The necklace comes in several versions all equally cute and cheeky at $70 lindens per play.

If ever you were looking for cute accessories for your feet, the current round of the Thrift Shop gachas has some. I purposefully did not wear shoes, because I didn’t want to distract from how cute my feet looked. hahaha These cute foot chains are from ZOZ, I think they are sweet and feminine and would look great with some strappy shoes for a little something extra. These sweet little “Love ties” are just $45 lindens per play and come in several versions. Next, toe rings from M&M Incorporated. I really like these simple but pretty bands with the little stone for some added color. They are just $50 lindens per play, and I couldn’t pass them up.

Feeling good about my gacha fun, I also came across a pretty little freebie from 7Deadly Skins. This vampy red lipstick is not just pretty, it’s also FREE at the 7Deadly Skins booth at the Thrift Shop. I think it really adds to the over-all look. All the Thrift Shop loveliness aside, I’m sure you’ve noticed this pretty lace top Pru has on.

This top is the Boob Job Hunt gift from SexZ, and for just $2 lindens, it is too pretty to not have. The top can be worn as just a system layer, however it also comes with an Omega hud. The top is semi sheer, however I think the pretty lace-like pattern obscures things enough to keep it classy.
