Irish(ish)

The slogan “Irish(ish)” seen on my top today speaks to me. I have Northern Irish heritage, but I have never really been to Ireland and I don’t always identify with Irish culture. As my family was originally from Northern Ireland, they often act British and do a lot of British things like drink tea and eat Hob Nobs. I guess I am Irish(ish)! My pretty skin is a group gift from Voguel. Starla originally blogged the gift here. On a side note, I always use the free neck fix from Velour to match these types of tones to whatever body skin I am currently wearing, and it usually works really well.

The Outlet Hunt @ Princess Stuff!

I have some fun prizes from Princess Stuff to show you today. Everything I am wearing and showing today comes from their Outlet Hunt, which is currently taking place at the Princess Stuff Outlet. Cute and Out of the Ordinary

Happy weekend, FabFree! I have some cute and out-of-the-ordinary finds to share with you today. There’s a lot here, so let’s jump into the deals!

Escape the Ordinary

Escape the Ordinary Hunt is a hunt I had never heard of until now! This is the third year the hunt has ran, and it’s organized by Stuff My Inventory Hunts. The theme of the hunt is all things different and out of the “normal”. You’ll see a variety of odd items available on the hunt, so there really is variety on this one! The cute cabinets shaped like dresses with mice popping out of them are the hunt prize from MOoH!, under their MOoH! Stuff product line. The hint to find the prize is, “find me under a pillow pile in the mainstore!”. These are so different but very cute. Each prize costs 3 Lindens on this hunt. You can see a list of the participating stores and hunt previews here. The Escape the Ordinary Hunt 3 ends on July 31st.

Now it’s time to move away from those cute mice and focus on me. I completed my look today using goodies from FabFree at Fifteen. Here’s the list of what I used from the event to make today’s cute and pink look.

Searching for Neverland

Peter Fan

Shanti has a really fun hunt at their store for the month of June. It’s The Neverland Hunt, a homage to the Peter Pan universe. What a fun theme! I absolutely love all the movies and books such as Peter Pan, Hook and my favourite of all time is the film Finding Neverland. I even saw a Peter Pan musical on Broadway. I’m a fan to say the least. So this was a fun one for me! Each prize costs 3 linden on the hunt. You will find the hunt key, hunt object, and preview of the prizes here. There are 8 prizes in total to collect until June 30th.

Colourful

As much as I love black clothing, I can enjoy a colourful look from time to time. Whenever I have the chance, I buy my favourite items in black. My blogger self is a just a wee bit more colourful than the way I dress when I’m alone and out of the spotlight. Anywho, today’s post is all about colour so let’s jump in and enjoy these colourful and bright items.

Multi-Coloured

Speaking of colours, the Multicolor Hunt is going on right now and they have a tonne of colourful items out at stores around the grid right now! Each prize costs only 3L, and here is a list of the hunt previews, LMs, and hints. The three gorgeous paintings behind me are the prize by Cwtch. You just click the painting to change the colours on it and you can copy it as many times as you want to display them around your house. They are so pretty and colourful! I just love them. 3 Linden for this gorgoeus set of artworks is a great deal! The Multicolor Hunt is going on until January 31st, so not much time left to get your hunt on!

Like a Swan

A while ago, folks in the FabFree chat were talking about Swan and all the gifts available at their store so I had to check it out. Swan appears to be a jewelery store, and they have a whole wall of dollarbies. Look for the ‘free‘ sign on the wall next to the group gifts. These dollarbies are separate from the group gifts. Once I found the wall of cute jewelery for only 1L a piece, I snatched them all up! The gold hoop earrings I am wearing are one of these gifts. They’re gorgeous! I am happy I checked out Swan, as this store was totally new to me until now! Thank you Fab chatters for introducing this awesome store to me! ❤

Finally, these adorable shoes are a group gift at StaphaneL. These shoes are called Lilly and they come with options to change the clasps, soles, heels and different parts of the outside of the shoe to different textures. These are so customizable! Just a Hippie Girl, in a Hippie World

I am a sucker for anything artsy and bohemian… or pink.  I’m like a bohemian version of Elle Woods (Legally Blonde).  Ok I’m not *like* a bohemian version of Elle Woods, that’s basically what I actually am, right down to a rescue Chi. (I don’t dress him in pink however, he is really a daddy’s boy)

Today is a bohemian sort of day, it’s warm, a bit humid, breezy.  So I stopped at this cute food truck to grab a cold drink and it came with a slice of watermelon!  So refreshing!  I really needed a walk someplace quiet, I’ve been all over the place doing the Fab Free Enchanted Forest Hunt!  It was so much work to get set up, but now I am enjoying the fruits of all that labor (not watermelon!  lol).  I hope you guys are too!

The Dress and Anklet I have on is from Ari-Pari. Both items have a colour hud which match each other. These items will be available through the weekend. I love this outfit! This Little Side Bag

I picked up this straw shoulder bag from S@bbia as a free group gift. It’s really well made and it’s super cute! It goes perfect with this boho look.

Anyone Love Gustav Klimt?

One of my favourite artists is Gustav Klimt, a 20th-century modernist. Naturally, I loved this necklace from Luminesse! I grabbed the Gustave pendant at the Wash, which only costs 3L. They have a bunch of other 3-10 L steals in their booth as well as free gifts! The Wash Event is open until April 15th, so you still have time to grab all the cheap deals and gifts!

Mila Free Genus Applier!

I know some of you likely saw this skin offer on Fab Finds recently, but I am currently wearing the free head applier from Neomenia in case you were wondering! It is a head applier called Mila for Genus heads. Simply join their free group to grab this lovely gift. To match the head to your body, you will need to purchase body appliers from Pume C, or grab the body appliers as a group gifts if you are already in their group (PumeC has a 399 L join fee).

The “Shaza” Updo

I know you all love free hair, and this hair I have on is a current group gift from EscalateD. I love the detail of the braids at the back of Shaza. With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it feels good to stop and take a moment to enjoy time spent together. Blue and I took a minute to do a little hunting at Roped Passions. Their Candy Cane Hunt (Jack Frost Path) prize is a his & hers matching set.
