Finding Some Holiday Spirit

With Thanksgiving looming (I know I said I wouldn’t celebrate, but the rest of my extended family does.) and Christmas ever approaching, I felt the need to inspire a bit of the holiday spirit in myself. I put on a comfy somewhat Christmas-like outfit, even got out the reindeer antlers just for fun. Turned on some holiday music, hung some flashy snowflakes in my kitchen, and got to baking. This year I decided to challenge myself with Crème Brulee. After a couple of tries, I think I’ve got it down! Now to whip up a practice batch of Christmas cookies… not because I really need to practice making them, but rather I want to practice eating them. 😛

Hi Fab Free, question, is it still called breakfast if it’s not morning? I don’t know about you, but I could eat bacon, sausage, and eggs any time of day. The Beach is Calling

Hey There Fab Free! I’ve got the car packed, a picnic basket, my swimsuit, and I am ready for some sand and surf. I am definitely one of those people who feels like the sea calls to them. There’s something about it, and no other body of water will do. I need the salty sea air and the rolling ocean waves. Spring Swing & Coffee Things

Hello hello Fab Free! So the Spring Cart Sale at The Wash is in full bloom. Did you see what I did there? Punny right! I’m full of good humor today. No really, it’s been a great day, and I hope your day has been just as awesome. I’m about to make things a little more awesome by sharing with you a few fabulous finds at the afore mentioned Cart Sale. For this post I picked up an inexpensive item at the Kitty Creations Cart, and a couple of equally budget friendly items at Totally Random’s Cart.

Swings and Flowers and Things – I love when a product includes all the things. This Cart Sale find by Kitty Creations is just that, it includes the garden swing, the tree with twinkle lights, the garden shrubs, and the pretty spring flowers. Also, the garden swing is set up with solo his and hers poses, couples poses, and even a few sweet slow dances. You can get this garden set by Kitty Creations at their Spring Cart Sale Cart for just 25 linden.

But First Coffee – I’m one of those that can and often does drink coffee at any time of day. It’s not just a morning beverage in my world. I like the way it tastes, the way it smells, and even the sounds my coffee pot makes as it percolates. That said, when I saw these coffee themed clothing items at the Totally Random Cart, they had to be mine. The top is very cute, it ties under the arms which is a little detail that really makes the shirt. It comes in several sizes and is just 25 linden. Also at the Totally Random Cart are these cute matching chucks. They are unrigged mesh so you can resize them, which means just about anyone could wear these. The shoes are also 25 linden.

Be My Frankenstein

Hello Fab Free’rs! It’s good to be back from a long weekend away. I’m super excited to finally be able to share this look with you! Can you believe we’ve got just 6 days until Halloween? Do you have your costume ready? I still have no idea how I’ll dress up. The main reason I can’t decide on something is because there are so many cool costume ideas. Easter Sundae

It’s the start of Easter Weekend, and there are lots of fun spring-time goodies to be had around the grid. I have to tell you I’ve been eyeing this double bun hairstyle by Olive for weeks now. It’s their Arcade gacha item, and at 75 lindens per play I’m really glad I gave in and played the machine. This mesh hairstyle has tons of color hud options to be had, and a rare “glittler roots” version. Again, the style is 75 lindens per play, and since it’s a gacha the hair is transferable so you can swap with others for the color you want!

Last but never least, shoes! I won’t wax poetic about my love for shoes, this time, even though these chunky pumps from HOC Industries are worth the effort. Hello Fab Free’rs, we made it through Monday! I think that deserves a little celebration, and what better way to celebrate than with a little shopping trip?! The pretty sleeveless top Pru has on is the current 25 linden special at Apple May Designs. I love this pretty dark pink color. The top is fully mesh and includes this pinstriped version and a plain version. In the package you’ll get the standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza fit for both Isis and Freya bodies. In addition to the cute top from AMD, I also picked up this gorgeous hairstyle from Besom. The Besom group is currently FREE to join, and this hairstyle “Genesis” is a current FREE gift.
