I’ve been exhausted and haven’t been able to devote time to blogging the hunt yet and all the other FabFree writers are waiting on me. *sorry* Hopefully these pictures make up for it! It’s that time of year once again for the Taste of SL hunt. This hunt is relatively easy to do in one setting. The starting point is at Alexohol Fashions Mainstore. If you get stuck see the hint page on the Taste of SL blog. The Taste of SL 2nd Birthday Hunt began June 15th and continues until July 15th.
Yesterday I told you a little about the C.D.T. 1st Anniversary event. There are gifts on every booth. Everything shown is from the C.D.T. event and most are from the lucky boards. The lucky boards change FAST so you should be able to win everything quickly. I did not put direct landmarks because it’s really easy to cam and see everything. M*Motion is offering the purple knit cardigan, mini skirt, and solid long sleeve shirt in their lucky barrel. The navy Engineer boots are from the !1mm lucky board. The red Itsuka hair is in the evergreen luckyboard. The light Bara skin from BCC. works nice for teens and children. The Usuzumi eyes are one of the many dollarbies on the *.amato.* booth.
The green mini party dress is in the +NK+ lucky board and the Spring Dot clutch purse is in the *MiuMin* board.
C.D.T. is celebrating their 1st Anniversary with special offers and gifts from amazing vendors. The very sweet dress above is a dollarbie gift from RibboN. I also won the lucky board Leopard dress (below) from RibboN in blue, pink, and purple. The Afternoon Tea eyes are a free gift from ROZENA at the C.D.T. event. The brown Saeko hair is only L$50 from the *hair shop nodoka* booth.
Last week I picked up the Little Milena kid skin and shape gift for Mynerva group members. This gift includes the shape, two skins in Brisque Tears and Dotty Blush, fitted eyelashes, and three makeups. There is a L$50 enrollment fee for the Mynerva group.
As Halloween draws closer, the gift costumes keep coming. Mohna Lisa Couture has a free gift of Chucky and the Bride of Chucky Avatars. Each avatar includes skin, shape hair and the clothing that they wore in the movie. You also receive a bloody cleaver, just in case you feel the need to carve someone something. The Japanese creators in the Sannomiya sim are having a Road Market Summer sale from August 16th through the 31st. There are lots of gifts, lucky boards, and 50% off sales on the carts. Walk around to all the booths so you don’t miss anything!
The green Camo bikini is in the LIKKA*HOUSE lucky board. The green Sequin Dress is from the lucky board on the :zozo: booth. The glasses are from the December lucky board. There are six pair of glasses in the December lucky board. I couldn’t resist the half price Parsley hair from Rosy mood. The hair is L$120 a pack. The skin and eyes are from Le Perche. There is a shape included in the gift but it made me look about 13 years old so I’m wearing my own shape. There also is a lucky board skin, as well as many L$30 skins/shape packs from Le Perche. JADE Hair has two lucky boards with 4 hairstyles in them. I managed to win the Cecile hair in pink. The pink rebirth wings are in the Flugeln Brise lucky board. There are many more lucky boards and free gifts on each booth.
For the Love of… Halloween is more of a fair/hunt event since there are also exclusive theme items for sale and the hunt is secluded to one sim. Here are the things I found in the hunt and a few of the exclusive items that are L$100 during the event. There may be more hunt gifts to find, the leaves are randomly scattered around the sim, so just look around.
The Think P!nk Hunt began August 30th and continues until September 30th. There are 50 stores participating in this hunt and the theme is… PINK! CandyDoll is the starting location for the Think P!nk hunt. In no particular order, here’s all of the prizes hidden in the hunt.
