A Little Fall Of Rain

Spring and March mean rain…ya know, unless it’s snow. I’ll take the rain. It always feels disappointing that the return of warmer weather still keeps us inside because it’s raining, but I remind myself that it’s worth it. The rain makes the flowers grow. I find it’s more fun to play in the rain in SL, and I found THE prettiest sim today in my search for green spaces. That’s literally what I typed into the search bar – “green.” If you’re into exploring or photography or just pretty places, you will not be disappointed.

On The Hunt

I finally dove into the FabFree St Patty’s Day Hunt. Talk about not being disappointed. I’m showing a couple of the prizes from Paper.Sparrow today. The boots that I’m wearing and the sweater are each only 5L on the hunt. Just head over to Paper.Sparrow and find that rainbow. To help you along, pictures of all the hunt items and hints are here. The boots add just the right amount of shamrock and the sweater will be perfect all year round.

Details

I am a big fan of gift cards. I also quite enjoy a good tattoo. Oh and I have been known to enjoy free things from time to time (shocking, I know). Artattoo had my back…well, actually my front, in this case. There is a free 350L gift card there for group members! It’s right when you first walk inside next to the front door. You’ll just need to join the free Artattoo group to get the gift card. I had to pay it 1L and get my 1L back. I used my gift card to buy the pretty tattoo on my chest and down my stomach. It was only 99L so I got it for free and a couple of others as well! The gift card is available to pick up until March 14th and then it needs to be used by March 31st. Mine…did not last that long.

Causing Havoc

Ok, so maybe it’s more of a lingerie set?  I don’t know.  This is SL, we have our own societal rules around here.  Head over to Havoc, join the group for free, then click on the vendor (near the landing point, in the middle of the sim) and this amazing sparkly thing is all yours.  It comes in a bunch of different colours, and the top, bottom and extra chain bits can all be worn separately.  But, it’s only here for the weekend.  Go!

Clover Cottage Beckons

The road is long, and the storm seems to be rolling in.  I’m so tired after a long day of wandering over hills and through dales (as one does), and I need a place to rest my weary head after all this fresh air.  Happily for me, I’ve come across Clover Cottage – haven for all those in need of a respite.  It’s cozy, it’s cute, and I hear the food is excellent too.  In I go, before the heavens open up!

A Hunting We Will Go

It’s always fun to put a little scene and story together when I’m decorating in SL, and all my finds from the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt helped me come up with this little tale I’ve spun.  You’ll find lots of frugal items on our hunt, all under 5L and all really cute to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  Here’s what I used to make Clover Cottage come to life:
