Eleven Pipers Piping

I’m going to say it one more time, just because I feel like I’m contractually obligated to every year (I’m not actually). BUT, Christmas still isn’t over. You know that whole 12 days of Christmas thing I keep harping on about. Tomorrow is the 12th day. If you haven’t ever heard of 12th night cake, or the Lord of Misrule, I highly recommend you look it up, because it’s fascinating history, and gives us more excuses to keep the jollity going. So here I am in a forest, sipping on something dainty, and hoping that tomorrow my piece of cake will be the one to contain the precious bean!

Snowflakes Fall

Here in the lovely forest of Le Monde Perdu, I always feel like something a little magical is about to happen. And today’s little hint of magic is this amazing diaphanous dress by Flamingos. It’s just perfect for wafting about parties and turning heads. Even better is the fact that the Flamingos group is currently free to join (not sure for how long!) so it’s a great time to get in and grab it. Plus the wall of other gifts that are there too. It’s a Late New Year Greeting

Hail to the New Year! Wow, time flies in Second Life. I should know as I’ve been here for eons. However, I didn’t come with the grid like a few of my “old” friends. I hope 2023 treats you kindly and that you stay safe/healthy in both lives. I much prefer to celebrate in SL. My cat would rather not be exposed to the fireworks noises. He did watch one of the pretty ones explode until it got too noisy.
