By the Sea

Some days I wish I lived by the ocean. I could take walks on the sandy beaches and ride my bike on the boardwalks. Maybe I could do some window shopping at the local boutiques and grab a drink at a cafe. But, I do not live by the ocean…so I do these things inworld instead.

Cheeky Monkey Hunts – ‘All the Colors’

For the month of June, Cheeky Monkey Hunts is running a super fun hunt called ‘All the Colors’. You can see details and hints on their website. The hunt runs until June 30th at 12pm SLT. Each participating designer has three choices of prizes they can set out: 1L, 25L or 50L. The 25L and 50L prizes are exclusive to the hunt. You can find the starting point here.

• My necklace and earring set and the bicycle are available from Loredana Loring of Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Charity Shop. The jewelry is unrigged with a resize script and the earrings have a script in them that allows the colors to swirl and move! The bicycle is so cute! It can be used as decor and you can also sit on it, as there are 12 PG poses in it…split between male and female. Both items are 25L exclusives.
• The tank top comes in a set of three colors from Mikki McLain of The Bold Llama T-shirt Co. It is a 50L exclusive prize. The set includes this black, a blue and a burgundy shade. They fit the following mesh body sizes:

Pride Never Stops

The end of June is nigh upon us. Pride never stops; it shouldn’t. It’s a choice you can make to support the LGBTQ+ community and remember the history of struggles to obtain basic human rights. My support comes naturally as I have long-time friends and family who are LGBTQ+. You’ve probably seen several posts about Pride @ Home and other events.

To help you show support there are a number of Fabulous designers who donated gifts for the Pride @ Home SL celebration. All of the gifts are Free but you need to hurry because the event ends on June 30th. Madame Aline, the FabFree boss lady, featured some of the event gifts here.

Showing Those Rainbow Colors

Ladies, how can you NOT love these items? I do love sparkly things! And the bright colors make me smile. I threw this look together with several gift items. Do I look a tad too festive to anyone? No way, never ever! Let’s get to it.

My delightful bodysuit is a Free SL19B gift from PrettyDeceased. It’s the Pride edition and it is so pretty & festive! It’s got the little side skirt attached. It also comes with starfish to cover up the boobies.

I didn’t wear the starfish because I wanted to add the crown and breast plate I picked up a couple of weekends ago from Synnergy.  I think the pieces go together quite nicely.

“Fitting In”

I recently created a new avatar with Maitreya Lara as the mesh body. It took me a lot of time to get the shape right. I was finding that a lot of stuff wasn’t fitting me anymore. Isn’t it crazy how much bodies are changing in SL? The minute I buy the newest one and get used to it, another one comes along… Hopefully, I still kept my curves with this new look. Let me know what you think of the end result! Now that I’m “fitting in” I am hoping to show you some cute outfits and products on the blog that I just couldn’t showcase before… although I would not be surprised if I do go back to my beloved Belleza eventually. I just think it’s so funny how we get emotionally attached to our virtual bodies and heads! I know I do, anyways.

Ooooo, Leg Chains!

A freebie I’ve been dying to show you for some time are these free leg chains from Mossu. You will find this gift lying on the floor under the “Harmony Dress Fatpack” vendor for free for all to grab. No group is required for this one. They’re sexy as heck! The chains include a colour texture change hud that allows you to customize the colours of the metals and the gems. It’s cute little things like this that I’ve been waiting to show you with a body that fits just right.

Well hey again, FabFam! My real life has been pretty chaotic here lately. All good things but just… wow… a lot! And it isn’t getting any less busy.
