Hey gang!
It’s the last week of Cozyfest so I wanted to sneak in two more of my amazing 50L finds. I’ve been hermiting the last day or two watching a blizzard dump snow on my rl home. We have a good foot and a half, and its a whopping 15 degrees and still pretty windy at about 19 mph (wind chill of 3 degrees) as I write this, so I’ve just had some of the chocolate chip cookies I baked today and some hot chocolate with rum to warm up a bit.
My second life self has been enjoying some of the same, some chocolate bars and donuts on a stick for her (made me wonder how you keep the donut from falling off the stick once you have eaten a decent amount of it. I would think it would take a tumble right off.) Either way I’m just a gal with a sweet tooth, and I do love those candy bright colors too. So let’s get to the goodies I found for you, neither of which have anything to do with bright colors or candy! Huh. Go figure!
Let’s talk about these amazing boots. These boots are from Friday at Cozyfest, they are of course 50L and you have the option to wear them without the lights but I got them *for* the lights cause if I could just drape myself in glitter and fairylights, well. That might be downright blissful. They fit:
Now the build I am standing in is by Lemme, also 50L at Cozyfest. This cute pink cabin comes in a lighter pink or a darker pink and is just super cozy and cute. It was pink, so how could I say no? Like Aline, I have a bit of a fetish for houses and buildings, a girl can just never have enough! Add pink in that mix and well, you’ve got me doing some heavy breathing! I chose the lighter pink one, the shade just appealed to me more, but I absolutely adore it!
Now, back to my yummy warm drink and perhaps a nibble more of the cookies! Hope y’all are staying toasty too!

I really love this time of year. Probably because the weather is so bleak, but February brings the fun! There are so many celebrations, gifts, events and loooooads of pink and red to look forward to. It’s the perfect time of year for a pick-me-up since winter often brings us the blahs. I’m feeling in the mood for crèpe paper hearts, pink wafers dipped into melted chocolate and a few cinnamon hearts.
I always look forward to the fun hunts that take place at Witchwood (the home of Petite Mort and Oubliette). They’re kicking the season of hearts off with a cheerful hunt filled with pink and red goodies that range from clothing to decor. My goodness it’s cold out in my part of the world! We’re hitting -27 degrees C today, so that means I am 100% curled up indoors exploring all the things SL can offer – beaches, dancing, new friends…and of course free fashion. There’s nothing better than sitting down with a fresh cup of tea and then putting new outfits together for my avi. She doesn’t mind, she’s pretty used to it by now. Keep the deep freeze at bay – play with outfits today! (That’s going to be my new motto forever now).
If you haven’t checked out the group gifts at Cosmopolitan recently, you really should. There are two quite lovely dresses up for members of the Cosmopolitan group, and I’m showing you the free gift courtesy of Safira. They’ve been a bit quiet inworld recently, so it’s really nice to see them back in the swing of things. Plus, how adorably sweet is this two piece dress from them? The ruffles were just calling my name like mad. There are two versions in the box – the plain pink I have on and a flower print version. Yesterday FAGA announced that they had a new group gift out too – and that is this nice semi-messy bun hairstyle I have on. In RL, I pretty much live and die by the messy bun so it’s nice to have a version in SL too. Shame I can’t change my hair colour as easily as I can inworld! This hairstyle comes in a full fatpack of colours (that range from natural to streaks to madcap colours galore) and three different sizes, with a style HUD as well. I love me a good hunt, but I really don’t like hunts that are just too hard. I mean, really, who has all that spare time??? I loved (LOVED) the Lost Hearts Hunt located at Valentine Island. There are 25 easy to find prizes all over this very well decorated Valentine’s Day sim. There are lots of places to take pictures; lots of places to picnic, dance or play with your SL partner! But, what’s the BEST part you ask…well, everything is FREE!!! No group is needed :-). You have some time to get there, but definitely don’t miss it! The hunt lasts until February 20, 2022.
I don’t want to spoil the hunt for you…so I am not telling you where any of these little hearts are located, but, they aren’t overly hard to find. They are FREE, so just right click and buy for 0L. Don’t try the age old trick of looking up under Creator because the amazing creator, Tayren Theas, has created pretty much everything on the sim, so you will have beacons everywhere :-). Tayren has been on the grid a long time and designs for SL Ballet.
I’ve featured a few of my favorite FREE gifts in the picture above, but, truly, I spent 20 minutes just trying to decide. The Asian Teahouse comes with furniture and plants (not pictured). The ladies pajamas match the Men’s boxers (also not pictured). This chess set that I am standing on can be PLAYED! The Fountain behind me has running water. The couple’s tree comes in three versions (Spring, Winter, and White Flower). There are also adorable Valentine’s chalk posters (not pictured). The list goes on and on.
