I do think it would look best on a darker skin tone… it blends a little much with my pale-ness. The Girl Next Door in a [Well Made] Outfit

I am a sucker for a nicely made outfit with parts I can choose to wear or not.  The Astra Outfit is this week’s 50L Weekly Limited selection from [Well Made].  There are actually three parts to it…the sweater, the skirt AND a warm fuzzy fleece jacket.  I chose not to wear the jacket because it covered this amazing sweater that I think is so incredibly pretty.  The HUD has many colors to mix and match to create a look that truly reflects my girl-next-door personality.

Resolutions & Revolutions

Soooo… it’s almost the end of January, and it’s that time where that niggling sensation of “oops, there goes the New Year’s Resolution…” comes out of hiding.  Have you managed to keep yours?  I always just go with the idea of not making any, so that way I’ll have none to break!  Easy peasy.  There are a few resolutions that we keep this year:  kick self-doubt and negative vibes to the curb!  Well, it’s at the very least worth a try.  Also, my resolution (that I didn’t actually make) of not eating ice cream seems to be working…mostly because the machine was broken.  Alas!

To the Free Dove!

It’s time for another awesome Free Dove hunt.  This month’s hunt is being hosted by Paper.Sparrow!  Our good friend Ms. Bunnie Francis has prepared some resolution-themed outfits that I can really get behind.  Say no to depression!  Well, I know it’s not that easy to get out of the cycle of depression, but it sure is nice to wear a t-shirt that reminds you.  I grabbed the shirt and jeans you see for FREE by joining the Free Dove group and searching for 5 number twenty-two’s at The Free Dove, and 5 others at the Paper.Sparrow mainstore.  You’ll have to join the free Paper.Sparrow group to get those ones.  You don’t have too long to take part in this hunt, since it ends at the end of January, but it’s quick and cheerful!
