A simple start to the week for me – all I need is a cute outfit, and probably lots of coffee. Except for the fact that I don’t drink coffee, so I’ll just rant about a good cup of Twinings Earl Grey tea to get it started off right. A few other of my necessities to get going are a good black eyeliner, a few stretches and a slice of toast. Let’s make this week awesome!
The latest group gift at Scandalize can be found at the front entrance of the main store. It’s this little tube top number that is simple yet eye-catching. It comes in three versions of varying see-throughishness (new word for you, you’re welcome). Being a PG blog, I went for the most covered version of the three. To get your own, just join the Scandalize group for 20L and click on the vendor. There are loads of lucky boards at the back of the store too while you’re at it.
There’s also a new group gift at Romazin. This layered necklace will go with so many different outfits! I’m super excited to put it into heavy rotation. You can change the colour of the little jewels on the necklace, as well as the metal, so totally versatile. The Romazin group is free to join, and there are a bunch of other gifts to pick up while you’re there. Yay!

Hello again, FabFree. I hope this day of remembering leaves us with a renewed sense of hope and pride in our nation. I saw a quote on FaceBook saying that we should enjoy today with BBQs and beach trips and enjoying our country because that’s what our service men and women were always fighting for. So thank you to all our past Veterans for the sacrifice made for us.
I know that train of thought doesn’t really go with fun and sun on the Grid but I’m going to press on. I visited the Tres Chic event today and if you haven’t yet… you need to. There are free gifts at most of the booths and there are some really nice gifts for this round. Aline showed us a bunch here. I picked out this easy breezy outfit from three different vendors for us today. I love the simple white skirt and top combo from Vague. This is “Tahiti” top and skirt and it is the free gift I’m talking about. The top and skirt are separate pieces for mixing with other bits and bobs for your wardrobe or getting a perfect fit.
My new bag is also a free gift. This is the “Soho Leather Bag” from Keem and it’s one of two gifts for the Tres Chic group. You can find this one up on the table at the entrance. The bag comes in five colors, each with a scriptless and scripted version. I loved this subtle green one but had to flip a coin to see which color I liked best. They are ALL awesome.
This last gift gave me my giggle for today. These lovely slip on sandals are from Art&Ko. When I saw the name is when I chuckled. They are “The Bright Colors of Summer Sandals – Brown” Really, I though… brown? Brown is a bright color of Summer? But then I put them on and loved them. The ‘brown’ is really more of a tan-ish nude color. Which, in fact, IS a great color for Summer!
