It’s still winter in my world, which calls for scarves, sweaters, and more floating snowflakes. Although I don’t like the snow, I love winter fashion so I’m happy to bundle up in a cozy sweater and scarf inside my house any day.

I just got in from a long day at work and had to figure my way home through snow up to my waist. I thought it would be a good day to create something nice and sunny and go for a shirtless run through the city to work up a sweat. Also to show everyone out there my first FabFree post. Good afternoon, Fab Readers. My post today is going to interest our newer members of the Grid because the more experienced among us have surely already taken full advantage of my finds today. I’m speaking of the 1L Shop at Gabriel. Of course, I am a frequent shopper at Gabriel… it’s something abut the name…. At any rate, I wandered to the back of the main store today to see the newly added 50% Discount area. Excellent deals there, by the way… just none I can show on here for75L or less. However, the 1L shop is a delight. The stock is clearly being rotated through and most of what I found was completely new on the 1L shelves. Like this stunning pinstripe suit I picked out. I do love a good suit. I’ve said it before : Boys have swagger, Men have character… Gentlemen have style.
Also, before I go, I want to offer a hearty welcome to Mr. Korday. Its good to have another gentleman in the mix. Cheers!

There is a free hunt at Wonderland Beach in celebration of Mardi Gras– but you have to hurry, the hunt ends on the 17th. Luckily, the gifts for the Love and Camouflage Hunt are pretty easy to find. All you have to do is look for the Mardi Gras mask in the shops on the sim to find your gifts. I found this great cami dress from TrendZy Apparel with a star pattern. It also came with a pair of heels. I am not wearing them because I wanted to show off these cute ankle boots I found on the hunt from Grumble. I loved the rainbow hearts– which happened to match well with another hunt gift, the bangle bracelets from SugarBaker.
As I mentioned earlier, this terrific hunt ends on February 17th. So you will have to hurry to snatch up these great gifts.
