I know I was posting about snow just a few days ago, but let’s just go back to the fields of summer for a bit. I’m really in the mood for some escapism, and escaping to a field of sunflowers while dreaming of the South of France is where my brain is right now. I think I’ll find a nice pool to lie beside with the sound of cigales (those really loud cricket things) in the background, and a cold drink. I’m shutting out the frigid air for just a bit longer, and I’m sure you’ll forgive me for it! At least, I hope you will!

I’m so glad that Sass is on the same page as me with their November group gift. Hey, Aline. I love the dress and hair that you showed off on this issue of “Fab Free.” I just have a small question. I wanted to see how to pronounce cigules but found that Google didn’t seem to know what the word meant, so I wanted to know if you were sure of this term or is this word spelled incorrectly. Cigale with an “a” is a type of large cricket – a cicada – that you often find in the south of France and in Italy (and other parts of the world too!). They are loud, terrifying to look at, and make a horrible racket that I happen to love dearly!
