Hello hello Fab Free’rs! I picked up a few group gifts recently that got me thinking about makeup. I love makeup. While I don’t believe makeup is something most people need, I do believe in the absolute fun of wearing it. I think it’s creative, and even artful at times. That said, I do feel pretty, and I think my look for this post is both fun and creative. The group gifts I’ve used to create this look come mostly from Ives Beauty, YOSHI Eyes, and POUT! Purple is one of my very favorite colors. I can remember wishing I had lavender eyes when I was a little girl. Café Culture

I have so missed going for coffee in RL.  It’s fairly safe in my part of the world to do so right now, but I am still eschewing the outside world pretty fervently.  I’m also eschewing coffee, and always have to be fair… I’m more the type of person who drinks things that are 98% sugar and 2% hot chocolate.  Or some combination thereof… I made my way over to The Burrow Coffee Co. so I could soak in some of the café atmosphere!

Fields of Love

The Warmth of Love

My grandmother had a deep, pure love for daisies and it grew on me as I sprouted. The daisy is something you can find anywhere in the right seasons, and I could roll around in fields of them remembering her loving embrace as she laughed at something silly I just did as a child. She was one of the warmest, thoughtful, honest, blunt women I had the honor of knowing. The smell of her perfume (Chanel no5) would linger on you long after her visit ended, her laugh still makes me smile even in my saddest moments.

And if I could lay in a field of love for one hour with her I would talk to her about everything and anything until she magically poofed back to heaven to be with her husband. So this is why I named it Field of Love, for her, for her memory, for her love of daisies, and my love for her.
