There’s a small town in southern England called Bibury. It’s nestled pretty decidedly in the Cotswolds, and is generally the type of place that I’d love to spend the rest of my life in. It’s small, quaint, covered in flowers, and even has a pub. Last summer, it was on my to-do list of places to visit. I went, giddy to see the little row of famous cottages, and ready to bask in the glory of the English countryside. Sadly, a tour bus was trying to make a three point turn on a one way street made for a single horse cart, and the parking spots were all taken. I couldn’t enjoy my little idyll, and I mostly got a drive through with my camera out the window, hoping to catch a photo or two of that lovely little town. I’ll get back there, one day, but for now I’m going to bask in the gardens of Second Life.
Hunt it Out
Alaskametro are hosting a hunt right now that is the thing dreams are made of. There are sweet, flowered dresses, lipsticks, eyeshadows, nail polish collections and even skins. You won’t want to miss out on this awesome hunt! You can take part in two different ways: you can join the group for 50L and then seek out the hidden flowers in and around the shop for free, OR you can buy each flower for 20L if you want to save your group slots. I’m wearing the Garden Party dress (there are three different shades of the dress to hunt for), the Hybrid lipstick and Hybrid eyeshadow (they come with BOM layers and Omega applier) as well as the Vintage China nail appliers that come with Maitreya and Omega options. There are lots of other options on the hunt too for different heads so take a peek at the hunt vendor poster below!
