I’d been dreaming of a seaside escape for weeks and Blue and I finally took a moment away from all the hustle and bustle of the real world and spent an entire day enjoying the sun, surf, and sand. For some extra fun, surf lessons. Blue took to the waves like a duck to water, while I was a little less certain! Either way, we still had an amazing time out at Kanaloa Surf Beach.
Before heading to the beach we picked up some new swimwear from MishMash Fusion. They have a set of his and hers swimsuits as their Surf into Summer Hunt prize. Has the time come again for me to wax lyrical about the joys of pastel? I find that often the connotation is that pastel is sickly sweet, and maybe a bit childish. But to that I say pooh! What’s wrong with things being a bit young? Pastel reminds me of donuts, flowers and shabby chic, which in my book are all wonderful things. I am happy with a bit of child-like wonder right now!
