When I was in high school, I was all about the Spice Girls. I was obsessssssed. I remember quite clearly buying Spice Girls lollipops, Spice Girls tattoos, Spice Girls t-shirts, and Spice Girls posters. There’s something indomitable about the spirit of the Girl Power movement. It was all bright colours, loud voices and insane clothing. They inspired me with their quotes (Silence is golden, but shouting is fun!), and their crazy attitudes. So we may be 20 years on from that time (ugh, aaagiinngg yourself again Aline!), but I think the spirit of Girl Power is just as empowering and fun as it was back then. So dressing up à la Baby Spice today really makes me feel happy!

I knew that this dress from Pink Charcoal was perfect for my Baby Spice look the second I saw it. It made me think of the little spaghetti strap dresses from back in 1998. We would have paired it with some knee-high socks and a pair of platforms that would threaten a broken ankle if you misstep.
