Weekend Awesome-ness

The one thing I need even more than new cute clothes… BOOKS. So imagine how pleased I was when I found a whole stack of them here in the café! Books and new almost free clothes are definitely making my weekend awesome!

New Togs, you say? Almost Free!

Yep, you heard me. I got my entire outfit here for just 10L. MH Unique is having a huge Marketplace sale and there are some really sweet bargains. Nothing is priced over 99L! And most things are much less. I’m always hesitant to buy from the marketplace when its a designer I don’t already know but I am SO glad I did. The quality of the clothes is stunning! Beautifully made and the colors are gorgeous. The ‘Alevi’ sweater comes with a HUD for ten colors.

My jeans are super cute and really perfectly made too. The ‘Telia’ jeans comes with a HUD for two colors, the black I’m showing and a wonderful camo. The camo is so cute, I’m going back to MH Unique to get a top to go with that one! This sale is only for a very limited time so get over to the Marketplace quick!

Goin’ Gone

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses!  I have to get my house ready for the bug guy to spray (oh the joys of living in the desert with scorpions and other nasties), but I wanted to pop in quickly to share a really pretty hunt prize with you.  I’ve already blogged one of our other finds from the Puppy Love Hunt here, but I must say, I think this one is my favorite.

Lagenlook – What’s That?

The Byzantine Lagenlook dress from Coveted features a gorgeous golden design over a deep burgundy fabric, which happens to be a go-to color for me in RL.  Its slightly flared, asymmetrical hemline falls at about mid thigh.  Cap sleeves and a fairly high scooped neckline complement the figure-flattering cut of the frock.  Three covered buttons on the right hand side add visual interest.  I had never heard the word “lagenlook” before, so of course, I googled it and discovered that it is a style which incorporates wearing layers of clothing.  Although I chose to wear just the dress by itself for my post today, I think it would work well with additional items such as leggings, a jacket, etc.  To pick up a copy for yourself, head on over to the Coveted store and locate the hunt object (a pet bed with a bone) concealed in the shop.  For just 1 little Linden dollar and a bit of time looking around, you’ll come away with a lovely outfit.  The Puppy Love Hunt runs only until February 28th, so if you like the prize as much as I do, don’t delay!
