Sometimes I keep myself amused by thinking about the etymology of words. Ugh, I know, I’m a weirdo. But think about it a sec, nowadays we say “slay” for looking awesome, when in the past we would have been brandishing a sword over the body of a vanquished foe. I dunno, it amuses me. I won’t pull out my etymological dictionary, so don’t you worry. Maybe next time!
