The Lady of Misrule

The Lady of Misrule

Tomorrow is Epiphany!  That means the 12th day of Christmas, bringing the end of the season, alas!  In the days of yore, one used to celebrate with a cake that contained a bean (many people still do!) and the person who found it was crowned the Lord or Lady of Misrule.  That would mean you could order everyone else about for the night!  I am that Lady of Misrule, and I command you all to go forth and get some freebies!

Showcase your Skills

It’s Designer Showcase’s 8th anniversary, and they’re celebrating with all sorts of gifties!  I joined their group for free and got a boatload of great new things to pad my inventory with.   There are gowns, jumpsuits and dresses galore, so make sure you stop off and grab it all!  Here’s what I chose to show you today:

  • FREE Satin Dress by Hilly Haalan sized for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya and Physique
  • FREE Shoes by Oh Pair!  sized for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, Physique and Venus
  • FREE Lipstick Applier by Alma Makeup with appliers for Catwa, Lelutka and Omega

Now, because I am the Lady of Misrule, you really must obey my command, so get over to Designer Showcase and glam yourselves up!

Happy 12th Day to you all!

  1. Wow, I have never heard of that tradition before! I think someone made that up to encourage kids to eat their beans. Good thinking.
