Keep Calm

Hello Fab Free’rs! Does any one know what day it is? I am feeling the hectic side of the holidays and sometimes I don’t know if I am coming or going! Luckily I have you guys, some good friends, and a cup of hot tea to remind me to slow down a minute and relax. I also get to take the time to share with you more fantastic Cart Sale finds and a fun addition from the Holiday Ho Ho Ho hunt.

The Sweater & Boots – Even my shoes are telling me to be calm today! These boots by De’Fient Unicorn are available at The Cart Sale and the best part (in my opinion) is the message on the sole of the shoe. It reads “Keep Calm and Activate Unicorn Power.” These shoes come in Maitreya and Slink sizes, and include a color change hud with 5 preset options. Also at the De”Fient Unicorn Cart Sale booth is this pretty playful sweater dress. I chose to wear it with jeans because, baby it’s cold outside! It comes in several mesh sizes and has a texture change hud with 5 patterned/graphic options to choose from. Also, this item has an alpha layer and is suitable for classic avatars!

There are two types of headbands, and fuzzy earmuffs to be found. You just need to find the “hidden in plain sight” little blue stars at the Oleander shop. Just Breathe

The week before Christmas is always a bit hectic, wouldn’t you say?  I know I’ve been running around in RL trying to stay organised without losing my mind.  At moments like these, I need a bit of a calm space.  There are some lovely places in SL where you can collect yourself and remember to just breathe!

Winter Wonderland

I may be something of a grump but there are a few things I really do like about the Holiday Season.  I have to admit, I enjoy the “finding a tree” rituals. The tree lots or cutting a fresh tree. Nothing makes it really Christmas time for me like the smell of evergreens and some hot chocolate at the tree farm.

Another Holiday tradition has to be the Wash’s Winter Wonderland Cart Sale. And I have to include here a huge thank you to all the designers who don’t forget the men of Second Life when they stock those Carts!
