Hangin Around

Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  As you can see, Ripley and I decided to keep spending the weekend at the beach.  It’s a good thing I had picked up the latest free gift for members of the FaShIoNable Group over at ALB Dream Fashion.  The best part is since the group is free to join, I added a sweet summery outfit to my wardrobe without spending a single Linden dollar!  After donning the bikini bottom and pretty cover up, I was all set for a day of strolling along the shore.

Ready for Fun in the Sun

With its tropical print scattered over a teal blue background, this outfit made me think immediately of palm trees and lazy days relaxing in the shade with a good book and a fruity Bahama Mama in hand.  The strapless cover up is knotted in the front and opens as it flows down to allow the cool ocean breeze to caress your skin.  A coordinating bikini bottom completes the look.  I like how the hemline is shorter in the front but drapes down to knee height in the back.   I enjoyed lounging around in this casual outfit so much that it’s making it hard to face Monday morning and the return to work!  Ripley is not helping as he is encouraging me to play hookey and spend “just one more day” at the beach…  I’ll simply have to explain how my salary pays for all those Ripley snacks Stan keeps bribing him with, and the pupster will be shoving me out the door in the morning.

I Come From the Water

Hello Fab Free’rs, Happy Sunday-fun-day! I hope everyone has been having a good weekend. Mine has been great so far. Today I am so excited to tell you about the free August Subscriber gift from BYRNE. This gorgeous peacock feather print summer dress is this month’s free gift, and I can’t say enough nice things about it. The skirt is sheer from the upper thigh down, and has a hi-lo type look. I’m sure there’s a name for this type of skirt, but I am not up on my fashion terms. Maybe that’s a sign I need to have some intellectual curiosity here!

So of course I wore this dress to the beach, the colors and the feathered pattern gave me some tropical summer feels.
