Beach Bunny

Hey, fabulous readers! I’ve been traipsing all over this beach looking for Aline. I know she’s out here somewhere… you haven’t seen her, have you?

I wonder if I’m at the wrong beach?

Oh well… no worries. She’ll turn up eventually. Right now, I need to sit down and put on some sunscreen before I get burned to a crisp!

And I’ve got some amazing items from The Beached Bunny Hunt 8 (TBBH8) to show you, so here we go! 😀

I Need Another Set of Hands

And since this is SL, I supposed I could always add a few more, right? LOL!

Anyway, I’ve got so much great beach stuff to carry, thanks to this adorable pose from X.T.C. Poses for TBBH8. The Them Summer Days pose includes the cute bento pose (obviously), as well as the sunglasses, ice cream cone, and bag full of beach essentials (including sunscreen, thank goodness).

My colorful swimsuit is TBBH8 gift from Anny’s Fashion. It includes the towel swung over my shoulder and comes in the following mesh sizes:

  • Maitreya
  • Slink
  • TMP

All gifts in TBBH8 are 1L each. The hunt runs through July 31st.

Enjoy!

❤ Serena

  3. Fantastic photo Serena and not just because of all the freebies you showing, I love how you are the focus with the background blurred. I would love to know how you did that, I have tried the blur setting in FS viewer but I always fail. My pictures blur too much.

  4. Thanks for the kind words, chericolette! TBH, I used to do quite a bit of editing in Photoshop, but since I got a better computer a few months ago, I do almost everything in-camera now. The trick to getting depth of field in FS (I can’t speak for the SL viewer since I don’t use it) is to make sure your subject is right in the middle of your screen. Click on the subject until you get it in focus the way you want it (if you don’t want your subject in the middle of the photo, you can always crop it later). What you see on the screen will be blurrier than the actual photo; I usually have to crank the blur way up just to get a little bit of depth of field. Just keep playing around with it until you get the look you want. Seriously, it has taken me YEARS to figure this out! 🙂

  5. Huh I’m going to have to try your trick about centering my subject, I click on it of course but never thought to try making sure it’s centered. I love using depth of field but even after playing with the settings I can never seen to get it depth of fieldy enough for my liking. ha Cute picture!
